Amanda Kibler is an Associate Professor in the College of Education at Oregon State University, USA. Her work focuses on better understanding the language and literacy development of multilingual children and adolescents from immigrant backgrounds and using these insights to support educators in providing more equitable learning opportunities for all students. She uses ethnographic, longitudinal, qualitative, discourse-analytic, and mixed-methods approaches to explore these issues, and her work has been published in venues including
Applied Linguistics, Language Learning, The Journal of Second Language Writing, The Modern Language Journal, and
