CRIS EICH is a children's book author and illustrator with a degree in Fine Arts. Her work is based on watercolor techniques and Cris has published more than 100 books of her own or in partnership with the most renowned Brazilian authors. Her work is recognized by the Brazilian Ministry of Education and her books have been distributed to schools all over the country. Her baby book "Where are the animals?", by Pangolin Books, was selected for the ODS Reading Club, a project created by the UN, in the "climate action" category, in recognition of her research and work in producing books with themes related to the environment. His books show the fauna and flora of Brazil, with an emphasis on the Atlantic Forest and the Amazon Rainforest. Cris lives in the green, undulating mountains of the Serra da Mantiqueira, a cozy place where all her brushes and paints fit. She runs courses for teachers and children of all ages on illustration techniques, promoting her work and the importance of preserving nature. Cris has been awarded the Nature Inside seal for her concern for bringing children closer to nature through children's literature, promoting meaningful environmental education from an early age.
