Frank Harris (1856-1931), an Irish writer and editor who became a naturalized American, left a lasting mark on literature with his remarkable work "My Life and Loves." "My Life and Loves" is his autobiography and was privately published by Harris between 1922 and 1927, and by Jack Kahane's Obelisk Press in 1931. The work was banned in both the United States and Britain for 40 years, finally being released to the American public in 1963.
