Dr. Insung Jung is a visiting research fellow at the Education Research Institute at Seoul National University, South Korea, and a former professor of Education at International Christian University in Japan (2003–2022). Prior to this, she held faculty positions at Ewha Womans University and Korea National Open University. With over 35 years of experience in distance education and e-learning, Dr. Jung has advised numerous international graduate students from diverse linguistic backgrounds, supporting their research and academic development. Her collaboration with global organizations such as UNESCO and the World Bank, where she contributed to international education policies, underscores her expertise. Dr. Jung’s extensive knowledge of international academic publishing makes her an ideal mentor for early career and non-native English researchers in the social sciences.
