Author of The Age of Impact - The Massive Transforming Movement of Freedom, New Economies, Social Entrepreneurs and the Conscience of Humanity. James Marins has a postdoctoral degree in State Law from the Universitat de Barcelona, Spain, a doctorate from PUC-SP and a full professor with a Masters and Doctorate degree from PUCPR in the areas of Economic Law and Development and Social and Environmental Law and Sustainability. is author of several books and more than a hundred scientific articles. In 2011, he got to know social entrepreneurship and became a mobilizer of the social impact ecosystem. He is co-founder of Instituto Legado de Empreendedorismo Social, social investor, angel investor and mentor of several impact initiatives. He is also mentor of Instituto Fundador, co-creator of Legado SocialWorking, the first social impact coworking in Brazil, and co-founder of social impact business investment fund Angels4Impact. In the scope of public policies, he is an advisor to the National Volunteer Incentive Council of the Ministry of Citizenship. Creator of the first Postgraduate Program in Social Entrepreneurship and Social Business in Brazil and the MBA on Impact Business. An oceanic sailor with more than 25,000 miles sailed, he finds his inspirational environment in the sea and in the long crossings.
