Jie Huang is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor at Zhejiang University. She has obtained Ph.D. degree in Ancient Chinese Literature from Zhejiang University and completed postdoctoral research in Chinese Language and Literature at Fudan University. Dr. Huang’s main interest lies in the study of literature and art of the Song Dynasty and writing poetry. Her published monographs include Song Ci and Folk Customs, Studies on Beliefs and Folk Customs in Song Dynasty Paintings, Tea Poetry and Tea Tao in Song Dynasty, Ancient Moon Song: Ode to Famous Ancient Chinese Paintings. She has published over 50 academic papers and over 100 reviews of paintings and poems. Dr. Huang was awarded the second prize for outstanding achievements in philosophy and social sciences by the Zhejiang Provincial Government. She was sponsored by the Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies for international academic exchange to visit Dongguk University in South Korea for one year from 2014 to 2015.
