Maria Sjöholm is an associate professor in public international law at the School of Law, Psychology and Social Work of Örebro University, Sweden. Her previous publications are exclusively within the area of public international law, with a focus on international human rights law and international criminal law. A predominant theme of her research has been gender issues and women’s human rights and she was a member of the International Law Association’s Committee on Feminism and International Law during 2014-2018.
