Dr. Ritu Pasrija (PhD) is an associate professor in the department of biochemistry at Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, India. She has over 20 years of experience in the study of drug resistance, particularly in pathogenic fungi such as Candida sp., Cryptococcus, and Fusarium. Dr. Pasrija’s research focuses on the mechanisms of drug resistance, especially antifungal resistance, and its impact on immunocompromised individuals. She has published numerous research papers, review articles, and book chapters in reputable national and international journals. Dr. Pasrija has received several research funding from agencies such as the University Grants Commission (UGC), the Department of Science and Technology (DST), and the Department of Biotechnology (DBT).
Dr. Deepika Kumari completed her PhD in the department of biochemistry at Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, India. Her areas of research interest include the biology of fungi and their broader biochemical implications. Dr. Deepika has published several papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
