Her primary research interests concern governance of inter-firm relationship, innovation, and network organizations. She is the scientific director of the NOIS (Network Organization, Innovation, and Strategy) research centre, and she founded the National Observatory on Inter-firm Networks in Italy. She was the scientific director of the National Observatory of the Italian Automotive Supply-chain from 2016 to 2021.
