Sue Fuller-Good was born in 1968 in Johannesburg, South Africa. She studied physiotherapy at the University of Cape Town and later did her masters degree at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannsburg. Sue has spent most of her time in clinical practice (her first love) helping patients with pain and disability. She is trained in coaching, in mindfulness practice and in mind-fulness-based cognitive behavioural therapy (Harvard Medical School). She has worked in the mind space as well as the body space for almost her whole career. Most of the medical world now recognises the biopsychosocial model of pain and disease, and the integral part psychoneuroimmunology plays in healing. This space has become more mainstream, but for many years Sue was a trailblazer finding her own way. She advocated strongly and vociferously for holistic patient care, lifestyle change to support well-being and preventative medicine rather than reactive medicine. This book is the product of her years of study, exploration and practical discovery in her treatment room, where every patient has been a teacher for her. When she is not working, Sue can be found climbing mountains, rock faces, trail run-ning and practising yoga, reading and discovering. She is the proud and devoted mom to two children, Keegan and Tyler, who are her greatest joy and delight
