I wrote this story a while ago, during summer break, but I decided to put it on BookRix so that people can give me some feedback! Thanks, and I hope you enjoy :D

It was a cold, winter day. It was the beginning of 2015, and I was waiting for the. I was in 8th grade now, and I was pumped to see all my friends.
As soon as the bus got there, I grabbed my lunch off the kitchen counter and sprinted out the door. I saw one of my best friends, Alexis. She was sitting in the back of bus, saving me a seat.
“Finally!” She said with joy.
“Nice to see you too!” I said, sarcastically. How was your summer?”
“It was pretty fun.”
“Cool! I played video-games bundled up inside.”
“Awesome! OMG! I heard the most awesome story yesterday!”
“Well, go on! Tell me!”
“I heard there’s a really cute new boy in school! I think they said his name was… Mike? Miles? I don’t remember but I’m pretty sure it started with an ‘M’.”
“He sounds super dreamy!” I replied, sarcastically.
“Well I didn’t hear too many details… All I know is he’s supposed to be super cute!”
When we got off the bus, I walked in, only to see my life long enemy, Diana Belaney. She’s captain of the cheerleading squad, and, no surprise, is dating the captain of the football team. I walked by, pretending not to see her, and she ran straight into me and my books scattered on the floor.
Everyone walked by and stared. Eventually, someone stopped to help me up.
I looked up to see an unforgettable face. His hair was perfect, his eyes were glistening, and his smile… his perfect, flawless smile. He was perfect, and I wanted him to me mine. He was worth more than all of the world’s money…
“Thank you.” I blushed.
“No problem. I have a feeling you and her aren’t too close…” He said.
“Yeah. She’s my worst enemy. I never actually knew why, though.”
“Anyway, I’m Mitchell. But my friends call me Mitch.”
“I’m Cheyenne. But you can call me whatever you want.”
“That’s a really pretty name, sweet face.”
“Hey, can I see your arm for a moment?”
“Sure!”
I looked over and noticed that he drew a 10-digit number on my left arm.
“Why don’t you call me sometime, sweet face?”
“Ok… yeah… I definitely will!”
