Chapter I
Being in the air they all left Bogota flying to Nassau where Captain Monroe was on hold.
Stay in Bogota was more than pleasant being surrounded whole the time by friendly atmosphere of general Sandino s family and friends, being trated like heroes, enjoying discovering Bogota s night life.
Jesse made few very important contacts for his business ensuring them some engagements in future when it comes about lectures and operational missions.
Few hours of pleasant flight ended in Nassau, where they used to stay only one night sleeping on the yacht ... taking out the money next morning they left Nassau sailing directly to Cayman Islands, wishing to spend there just a couple of hours to put their money on their bank accounts.
Having all things settled on Grand Cayman they left George Town having late night flight to Mexican Cancun, where they supposed to split ... Jesse and Melanie suppose to fly to Leon the nearest airport to Guanajuato- GTO, Jens and Peter to Holland and French guys to Marseilles.
The biggest problem for them was to find the way to transport their weapons back to Amsterdam ... after spending some time thinking and combining about this they found the way engaging Captain Monroe to store their arms hidden, bringing it to Europe in next two or three weeks becoming good money for this.
Spending few hours waiting inside Cancun airport building Jesse and Melanie send off guys to Europe, giving last advices to Jens and Peter what to do in Amsterdam.
To hisFrench friends Jesse said ... see you guys, it was pleasure to have you besides us, it was real fun, best regards to Francois and if you need us just give us a call!
Jesse it was fantastic experience, let us repeat ... fuck we loved that ... turning to Melanie they told ... see you Princess, as usual you made us dreaming to meet the woman like you!
Hearing such a compliment Melanie answered ... come on guys, dontmake me feel uncomfortable, but it sounds so good, thank you very much, you are able to make every girl to feel like a real Princess!
Having all guys in the air in the same Jumbo jet flying to Europe, to London where they supposed to catch separated flights to Marseilles and Amsterdam, Jesse and Melanie decided to spend two days in Cancun.
Staying in Cancun they used to sleep in The Ritz-Carlton Cancun hotel, having excited nght life, visiting several discotheques where Melanie used to show her art of dancing occupying attention of all present.
Wonderful crystal white sandy beaches gave them an opportunity to take a long walk along the shore, making several intermissions having their beloved cocktails ... Melanie s Cosmopolitan and Jesse s Harvey Wallbanger, which they used to complemente with different local specialities when it comes about typical local snacks.
Third day they had late afternoon flight to Leon, the city which was 80 km away from Jesse s favorite city of Guanajuato, for him perhaps the most beautiful and most colorful town he visited.
Coming out from arrival hall he saw his friends Jaime and Arturo waiting for him and Melanie ... warm hugging and handshake did take some minutes and both of his Mexican friends were not able to hide their admiration about Melanie telling almost in the same voice ... Melanie we heard about you but your appearance is beyond of our imagination, you look amazing, our friend Jesse is one lucky guy ...
Their compliments pushed Melanie to get flush-faced thanking them for lovely compliments saying ... thank you guys but you overdo a bit, don t you think so?!
Absolutely not Melanie, you look fantastic!
Driving to Guanajuato did take about 40 minutes ... entering the town was something special for both of them ... surrounded by big sandy mountains Guanajuato was situated in quite narrow valley having its houses situated also on the slopes of the surrounding mountains. The whole city was dominated by huge monument of „Pipila“, Mexican indipendence struggle hero, situated on the mountain on the edge of the town.
Sunset and coming dusk made all this very romantic making them both very thrilled, especially Melanie who was unstoppable saying ... look at this, look at that, Jesse it is so beautiful, look at these colorfull houses ... honey we have to stay here for a few days, it looks like a fairytale.
Yes, Guanajuato really looked like a fairytale with its numerous small picturesque squares, lovely narrow streets, from government directed lovely illumination across the whole city without just illuminated advertising and signage, numerous cafes decorated in Mexican style …
One thing among many was really unique there … theatre shows used to be played in Guanajuato on open space and stage used to be one or more little squares situated around. It was town with oldest University in both Americas and place of studying for many students from all over the world, which gave special flair to the city, making it very international and very Mexican in the same moment.
Guanajuato was UNESCO World Heritage site … founded in the mid of 16th century it used to be silver mining city first. It s down town was having distinct European flavor with hundreds of narrow cobblestone callejones running up and down the hillsides, shady plazas dotted with sidewalk cafes, museums, theaters, markets full of to European exotic fruits and vegetables … to make it short and clear, Guanajuato was candy town, so sweet, cute and intimate making everyone to dream about to come again!
At the insistence of Jesse s friends they accepted to be Jaime s guests, becoming top floor of his house on disposal … beautiful studio with fantastic terrace that enabled them spectacular view across the city.
Melanie was so thrilled, she already did enjoy every second of her short stay here and it was so much to see and to experience in front of them.
It was few days before Easter, the town was preparing for celebration of the greatest Catholic festivity, crowd was everywhere making them very thrilled and amazed with all this colors and so touchable pre festive mood.
In one moment next morning during their late morning coffee which they used to have with Jaime and Arturo, their girlfriends and some of their friends in one lovely café located at lovely San Fernando square, Melanie did propose something very uninspected to Jesse telling … darling why we don t call our parents to join us, they would love to see all this … seeing Jesse totally surprised she continued … please honey let me invite them right now.
Seeing him so confused Jaime and Arturo told very suggestively … why not JJ, invite them here, let them have uninspected Easter, do it man!
Not waiting for his approval she dialed Brussels and Salzburg having a long talk with her and Jesse s parents in intention to make them coming … after almost an hour of persuasion and describing of Guanajuato Melanie did convince them to come.
Giving her phone to Jesse she told … they are coming honey I am so happy to have them besides us, they will love all this, talk to your parents.
Having his parents on the line Jesse talked softly to her mother telling … mom will be fun to have you here next to us!
My son Melanie used to be so suggestive that we couldn’t refuse to come, but wouldn’t be lovely from you to offer the same to Horst and Gloria, I mean they could find them offended in case you don t offer them to come.
You are right mom, we have to offer them to come, I ll let Melanie to call Gloria …
Hearing their talk Melanie was stretching her hand saying … let me call Gloria I ll make them come too.
Having Gloria on the phone, making her convinced to come in just a few minutes she did cut the line asking Jesse … honey tell to Monika to plan one common flight from London or Paris to Mexico City or Leon to have them all to arrive together.
In that moment Horst was calling already asking … what the hell is this Jesse, Gloria is convincing me to fly to Mexico for Easter, are you fucking out of your mind we have so many things to do here.
Jesse s answer was … cool down H, I know you have to do a lot, but are you going to work these three days, I mean you have weekend and Easter Monday so why don t you come for three to four days here, it is really unseen and fantastic H, you will love it partner, let Monika and the girls to organize your flight from the airport where you can meet you all and fly together to Mexico City or Leon.
Okay we ll come partner, let me organize everything you don t have to care about, we ll take care of Gabriela and Jack and Melanie s parents as well.
One thing more H, ask Jens and Peter if they want to come and tell them they are plenty of beauties here, they do deserve that and you ll stay protected whole the time.
Melanie was thrilled with all happenings during the day in Guanajuato she was circling around with Jaime and Arturo girlfriends wanting to see all things around, all shows, museums … of which this colonial town was full, special ambience was created by colorful facades of houses making one very spectacular vivid scene.
Next day was the day of arrival of their families from Europe and they both accompanied with Jaime and Arturo left Guanajuato driving to Leon where their parents, Horst and Gloria with the kids supposed to land coming all together from Paris.
Well, family meeting for a second time in one month was warm and touchable … they were not so tired being flying first class having quite a chance to sleep relaxed and to enjoy fine dining during flight.
Short driving time to Guanajuato did pass in pleasant conversation, the biggest problem for Jesse was how to explain his last mission hiding all dangers they used to face along the Caribbean, hearing his mother s critiques which was stopped by his father as usual. One thing was so visible, every critique that came from his mother s mouth showed just her love and care for her only son.
Situated them all in Camino Real Guanajuato hotel, Melanie and Jesse told them to have a nap and to call them when they are ready for a walk before going for a fine dining in “Mestizo”, the best restaurant in Guanajuato.
Having one hour of slow walking across the city down town they all were totally amazed by the city and its charm saying … it is fantastic my kids, so colorful, so vivid it is amazing what for one colonial charm is to taste here, it transfer you somewhere else turning back time …
Hearing all this Jaime and Arturo who used to be accompanied by their girlfriends told enthusiastically … we are lucky folk, tomorrow we have chance to see “Estudiantina de Oro” de la Univesidad de Guanajuato, it is Student choir that moves singing through narrow streets of Guanajuato making you feel ancient spirit of passed times, it is really wonderful and unique, you gonna like it very much. After that you can enjoy some theatre shows that are going to be played on some of down town squares, will be a plenty of action as always actually.
Drinking late morning coffee next day all together in a fantastic mood, Melanie did order Cosmopolitan cocktail which bartender brought her personally, having also Jesse s Harvey Wallbanger cocktail saying … Jesse your Harvey Wallbanger is here as well, made especially for you amigo.
Hearing his words and the name of the cocktail, Jesse s mother couldn’t resist asking … my son what is this, what are you drinking, can t you drink something more decent when it comes about names of ordered drinks, don t you feel embarrassed sitting with us ordering something like that?!
Mom I didn’t order this, the bartender just brought this having us daily as his best guests, I am not guilty drinking something I like, because of it s silly name.
That pushed Jesse s father to say performing their classic … Gabriela our son is not a kid anymore, give us a break and let him drink what he wants, instead of criticizing his choice look around and try to enjoy this incredible spirit of Mexican “manana” mentality, because you can t find it anywhere else in the world.
Jesse s mother turned her head to Melanie starting … Melanie darling cant you influence him to stop … seeing all smiling in anticipation of her words she told, oh it looks I am the most conservative person here, I am not going to say anything more …
Seeing her that way Jesse hugged her telling … mom you are the best mother in the world and I love you both more than myself!
Kissing his cheek mother answered … we know that my son, do not take me that serious!
Seeing Jens and Peter smiling covertly Jesse told them … you both are enjoying this moments, don’t you?!
Jens answer was … honestly we do, trying to discover that switch in your head that turns you from most tough agent into a cotton soft family person, it is still enigma for us, I mean for me and I know you much better than most of the people!
Sunset was close and they used to take place next to central Jardin de la Union, where the Estudiantina de Oro get things started being dressed in traditional garb.
Being very thrilled Jesse s mother like most curious among them did ask ... are they staying here whole the time or they are moving around?!
Jaime explained her very clearly telling that they are going to follow Estudiantina on its way through narrow pitoresque streets, romatic squares hearing them singing below window of some Senoritas ... hearing this they all did comment it s going to be fun!
Seeing one burro there Arturo told them ... burro is carrying some wine in case you get thirsty, so do not hesitate to buy some wine.
Enjoying beautiful music singed by Estudiantina, they laughed hearing their jokes which kept crowd entertained whole the time ... the most beautiful moment used to be when Melanie, her mother and Jesse s mother saw them singing below one romantic decorated window provoking one young Mexican girl to appear as the most desirable girl to marry ... this scene made them letting few tears to roll down their cheeks.
Having this fantastic happenning to end, they took places in one of local cafes from which they were able to see actors playing some theatre play couple of meters away from them, which made them to feel going back to bygone times.
Around 10 pm they decided to eat something going again to „Mestizo“ restaurant, wishing to have few delicious bites before taking a final midnight walk before sleeping.
Easter breakfast was one of the most beautiful events for very religious Mexican Chatolics and for Jaime and Arturo families as well ... Arturo s family arrived to Guanajuato from close San Luis Potosi, it was some kind of tradition for his family to celebrate Easter here.
Jaime invited all let s say Europeans and Arturo s family to have breakfast in his house ... meeting his beautiful family was very special moment for all of them and opportunity to experience the way of Mexican life from the first hand.
Very significant was to see Melanie,her mother and Jesse s mother playing with Jaime s little nephew and nice having them in their lap whole the time, which pushed Jens to comment with a low voice.
Jesse do you understand the message, look at Melanie she feels already like a mother having them in her lap … man you are in a fucking deep sheet, you must marry her very soon my friend.
Sitting quite away from them, Melanie was having Jaime s two year old nice in her hug playing lovely with her, kissing her cheeks and touching her little nose, having three years old nephew standing besides Melanie in try to climb into her lap too.
In next second Melanie told to a little totally cute baby girl to go to Jesse, taking Jaime s nephew in her lap … little girl came to Jesse seeking him to get her into his lap what he did enjoying it very much, staying watched by his mother Gabriela and Melanie s parents.
Nothing was told but everything was crystal clear, Melanie showed like never before how much she would appreciate to have babies with Jesse.
Around noon they all went out for a walk visiting Jardin de la Union which was full of people and flowers ... that pushed their parents to say ... how fantastic is this, amazing now we realize we did miss something like this all our life, it s unique adventure it calls you to come again and again here.
Chapter II
It was Tuesday morning when they all entered Leon Aeropuerto having flight back to Europe.
Talking about all fresh impressions, their parents, Horst and Gloria, Jens and Peter told how much they appriciated to stay few days in Gunajuato saying how great idea it was.
Jesse told them ... you talk to Melanie, all this was her idea, she did organize everything, she did insist to have us all here.
Landing in London made them separate, having Melanie, her parents and Jesse s parents fly to Brussels being invited by Melani s parents to spend few days in Belgium and Horst and Gloria and the kids, Jens, Peter and Jesse flying to Amsterdam.
It was a lot of work in front of them … as they concluded would be needed to employ many new agents, which wouldn’t be a problem having a hundreds of calls and long list of agents seeking for engagement in their agency.
Seeing list of to them offered jobs from around the world, Jesse, Jens and Peter used to be impressed realizing Horst didn’t overdo with his statement they are snowed under with work.
Next few days they spent planning how to organize everything wishing not to pull to many new agents to live in Amsterdam … Jesse s proposal was short and clear … to hire new agents for less complicated jobs letting them acting in Europe and waiting for their efficiency, allowing best of them after some time to come to join them as full employed agents. In the same moment he planned to further educate already employed agents, making groups who supposed to attend additional training to advance their skills making them deadly dangerous and skilled for any kind of task.
Sitting with Horst in his office Jesse did call Monika telling her to find Jens and Peter adding … tell them to join H and me in the restaurant across the street as soon as possible … having Monika going out of the office he added … would be good to have Marco and Phillipe also coming, we have some important decisions to make, so let them come as well right now.
Taking their seats in the restaurant Jesse started conversation with Horst when Jens showed up … other agents joined them in couple of minutes.
Having them around the table Jesse asked Horst … H do you want to say a few words at the beginning or … no Jesse, just go on with your minds with which is Jens already familiar, Peter too partly let us start providing this from tomorrow if you agree?!
Jesse s explanation took half an hour and at the end he concluded … we form groups which are going to follow plan of advancing of their knowledge and practically skills and at the end we form one group of fifty best agents who are going to be able to answer on any kind of challenge and that means top risky missions, top body protection, combat of any kind etc.
Tomorrow Horst, Jens and I will hold a meeting with all employees clearing them all, explaining them to join our program freely without pushing anybody to do this against his own will and acceptance.
We ll engage some of leading professors in the field of our interest and that means every agent who decide to join our program has to spend some added weeks listening lectures.
Practical training all agents are going to have with Jens and me and it is gonna be the heaviest part of the whole education, because we need well educated agents, but theory is one thing and true action is another thing. Of course agents who are going to join best group of fifty agents are going to be recognized as the best we have to offer and it will be followed by top salary.
Our chances to get top jobs around the globe did increase after one unplanned promotional book and one interview organized by our very best supporter in promotional field Miss. Linda, who will get a chance to visit our agency in coming period and she will help us to come worldwide again, like through our last interview.
Marco and Phillipe are going to be leaders of new formed groups and they are corresponding and staying responsible to Peter who is under Jens, Jens is corresponding and responsible to Horst and me and that means Jens is absolute Boss in my or Horst s absence and his word is going to be final and has to be respected like mine and Horst s, no kind of indiscipline is going to be accepted.
Each of you can think about everything you heard right now, every opinion is going to be reviewed and approved, make you think creative, because Horst s and my vision followed by Jens of course is to create the best detective agency in the world, which is going to be ready to solve every possible problem required.
Top agents are going to have special drills whole the time staying ready 24 hours a day and they are going to be excellent paid of course.
We are all friends, but Horst and I expect highest professionalism and discipline when it comes to work, when we have party we ll make it always unforgettable like we always used to do.
We have to start tomorrow earlier, let us meet at 8.30 am again preparing all for the meeting which is going to be hold at 10 am in our lobby where I want everybody to be present including administration, except agents on the missions of course. When they return from current missions I want you to explain them all without having Horst, Jens and me to remind you to do that. Now get back to work and make it known to everybody, Jens you stay with me and Horst to make some other details, turning his head to Peter Jesse added … Peter your commanding time just started, so go on man.
Providing all plans according to Jesse s wish in next few months they formed few highly skilled groups for certain tasks to do, establishing one special unit for most secret and most complex tasks which was responsible only to Jesse and Horst, having Jens to coordinate them.
This group of 48 men used to pass through special training of shooting guns and snipers, hard drill of diverse fighting skills having boxing lectures with Jesse and judo lectures with Jens, knife fighting and throwing, lectures, PC communication skills, language lectures etc.
They were obligate to train every day having two days off and they used to be on disposal 24 hours staying ready to act.
They supposed to move into action becoming direct approval from Jesse and Horst based on Jens and Jesse s suggestion.
Telling them about their special status Jesse added … my decision to let you have special status means also a big obligation for you to stay very normal, kind to your colleagues, helpful and well behaved on and out of duty. Also you have to keep your mouth shut about your tasks putting your work aside, forgetting about it when you are talking with other people or your relatives, girlfriends, families … whatever. Let me say we expect from you to be model for the others!
You ll be divided so far in two groups of 24 men having Marco as the front man of one and Phillipe as the front man of another group.
Just to let you know although I think you are aware of it … we are recognized as the best detective agency in Europe and one of the best in the world, but our wish and obligation is to be the best with no concurrency, we have enormous growth of offered top jobs, everybody is seeking our service and it is going to be promoted in next days, having Linda coming with her team, but I did let Melanie to organize this part of her visit.
His last words pushed Jens and Peter to laugh … turning to them Jesse told … what s so funny you two?!
It seems Melanie did teach you a lesson when it comes about Linda, to not contact her without her knowledge … saying this they laughed loud which pushed Horst to loud laugh too, being followed by other guys.
Seeing them in a good mood, Jesse answered … for betraying me that openly you two so called friends owe us a fucking lunch!
In that moment Monika entered the meeting hall telling … Jesse Melanie is calling you, having you inaccessible she told me to tell you she has news about Linda … telling this Monika couldn’t restrain her smile knowing about Melanie s jealousy and that gives Horst, Jens and Peter added reason to keep laughing pushing Jesse to leave the room showing them a mid finger … fuck you all together, you gonna pay for this!
Having Jesse out of the room some guys asked curiously … what is all about, why you laugh that happily?!
This is the unique opportunity to see Jesse defensive having Melanie and his parents talking to him, in this moments unbeatable agent turns into cotton soft person.
Calling Melanie Jesse heard about Linda s coming at the end of the week wishing to see everything before making a big reportage about Agency here in Amsterdam.
Darling it is well done from you, I am proud of you!
You should be my love, I ll come to you on Thursday early afternoon and we ll have lovely three days together with her, actually I think she likes Jens having you occupied.
Hearing this Jesse answered … if your instinct is not wrong let them be together with us these three days, so far I know she is very pretty to Jens.
Coming back into the office Jesse saw Horst ready to leave and he told him about Linda s coming in two or three days … it is great partner let us show her all she wants to know, she is going to make her best to promote us worldwide.
