High technology companies can be distinguished from companies operating in the conventional sector of industry by market-oriented determining factors and discovery-led as well as development-oriented characteristics. In the main part of this diploma thesis first of all the elements of controlling in high technology companies are determined and classified based on the discovery-led and development-oriented characteristics. After this a way of implementing those elements of controlling in high technology companies is suggested.
