Essay aus dem Jahr 2020 im Fachbereich Medizin - Epidemiologie, , Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic the world has been paralyzed, economies have collapsed and people have been confined so that mental illnesses will surely increase exponentially; immune, humoral, nervous system diseases and stress will rise which, will result in an upsurge in the incidence of affectations and deaths related to cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, hypertension, diabetes, obesity and immunodeficiencies with the danger that they will generate a greater number complications such as infections by bacteria, parasites and viruses that will include “COVID 19”. In this context concerns and questions arise daily that are transmitted directly to us, or other groups of scientists, through the written press, social media, radio or television about how and when the pandemic will stop. However, issuing a criterion in this regard is difficult and only within the extent of "academics" because an answer, of this magnitude, could imply great risks for the health and life of people as this conjecture could be taken as definitive, for doctors and the general public, to confront the condition in an erroneous way if it were the case.
