Chapter 1: The Exodus

“DARIEN SHOCKRA!!!”, shrieked the outcast.

He was enraged. His red eyes beaming with anger amidst his green, scaly flesh.

His large, menacing figure paced up and down the unholy mound. A long dark green robe hung from his torso following every step of the hooded creature. He prepared to digest information that was about to be shared at his meeting by a trusted source.

Although in the beginning of his creation he was known as the greatest of the Tritem, Ophidion was determined to now stamp out the light in the Universe with the help of his most trusted mentor and master, Lucifer. His image, prior to his betrayal of his people, was that of a very handsome man. His appearance was altered and cost him greatly following his thirst for power, which revealed his true and evil intentions. He had enough of being cast out just like his Lord. They understood each other well. They both wanted vengeance, and ultimately power and control. Greed coursed through their veins.

Both were hell bent on finding the source of their adversary and intended to destroy all life associated with its name.

A plan was required. Saturn was a desolate yet welcoming planet that was a perfect home base. They were still able to manipulate the Earth from such a distance with the ancient technology they had crafted and built strategically placed throughout the planet. They had amassed an army of darkness and pure evil, and were willing to do whatever it took to complete their mission…

Destroy Darien Shockra.

Ophidion had come to learn of this name from his meeting with the Oracle.

Standing across from the Oracle on a desolate sacrificial mound, Ophidion needed answers and needed them immediately. Many had already met their fate on this unholy mound. Ophidion made sure of this. The Oracle knew this.

The Oracle acknowledged Ophidion’s presence with a nod, and proceeded to speak in its deep, dark tone, “You’re here because something troubles you greatly. You can sense something goes against you. Well… here is why. A warrior, more powerful than you can imagine, will come to stop you from gaining immense power. Yet, it does not exist at this moment in the physical realm to do so. Although its energy exists. And it is powerful, hence why you feel this.”

“So, you're telling me that there will come a time that a great and powerful warrior will come to stop me?”, Ophidion bellowed.

The Oracle’s head bowed. Ophidion’s eyes closed.

“And its name?”, Ophidion asked.

“Darien Shockra is his name,” the Oracle replied.

“And his name is Darien Shockra”, he repeated, as his cold blood started to boil.

“That is correct,” replied the Oracle.

“What must I do to stop him?”, Ophidion asked with indignant curiosity, as his eyes reopened.

The Oracle paused for a moment and then responded, “One way you can ensure your success is to go to the planet of Nibiru and cut him off from the source. Find the seed known as Zander and kill him. This will terminate Darien Shockra once and for all.”

A wicked smirk appeared on Ophidion’s menacing face.

The Oracle paused for a slight moment longer, and continued, “However, to gain even more power than you possess already, you can wait until the crystal orbs of the new Tritem are formed inside him, and then extract them for your own personal gain. This option may place you as the most powerful being in the Universe.”

The second option was quickly becoming his favourite due to his character, while the thought of anyone taking power away from him began to make his blood boil immensely.

“I will stop at nothing to either take the soul from the seed bearer or take the orbs from the boy and claim what is rightfully mine,” said Ophidion.

Anger built up inside him until he erupted. “Either way, I will destroy Darien Shockra!”, Ophidion yelled with rage.

The outcast now found himself in a slight dilemma regarding his options. The first choice ends the threat, and the second did just that but exponentially increases his power; more than Lucifer.

He was outcast many years ago from the planet for being a narcissist and having delusions of grandeur. Power went to his head and it cost him dearly for selling his soul to the Devil. His position shifted from being a protector of his planet to becoming an absolute traitor.

Ophidion paused for a moment. Thinking of the self-glorifying outcomes serving his ego made him excited, yet anxious. The second one especially.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. After seconds of thought, he opened his fiery, red eyes and displayed an evil grin. Ophidion lifted his hand to dismiss his messenger. The Oracle bowed.

And with that, he left the Oracle to return to his throne. He needed to summon his army and prepare for departure. Destination Nibiru.

Chapter 2: Revenge Unleashed

Meanwhile, on the planet of Nibiru, the Tritem knew that they were expecting a war of epic proportions. It was imminent knowing what happened to Ophidion. The time had come for the lost soul to retaliate.

The Tritem were the protectors of the Universe; three beings chosen to ensure balance and peace. Three were appointed for a time before they were replaced by successors to continue the legacy.

However, for this era of service there were only two members of the Tritem. Ophidion had let the team down along with the family he left behind in search of immense power. And it cost them all dearly.

Ophidion spent his time helping Lucifer to cause division and assert control on the people of Earth just to exert their power to prove to themselves how great they were. Even if it was only for self gratification.

Ophidion knew the planet Earth well. It was his playground. He had left lineage behind unbeknownst to him. He was self-absorbed and too busy travelling the Universe plotting his elaborate plan to take over and control all that existed in its vast confines; destined to become Lucifer’s protege.

In the city of Edion, sitting around the Table of Truth in the Hall of Enlightenment, Maya and Cypher felt a pang of unease.

“I can feel him coming, and he is not alone,” Maya stated with calm disposition.

“Me too,” added Cypher. “His army will be intense. We must prepare for the attack.”

Hovering her hand over the table, Maya activated a broadcast that was sent from within the room which quickly spread in an instant across the planet of Nibiru warning its people of the danger that approached at speed.

Within moments of sharing their intuitive vibrations, the energy in the air across the planet became unusually still. Not a sound could be heard from any of the animals, let alone the people inhabiting the planet. It was deathly calm. Like the calm before a storm.

All of a sudden, an enormous light resembling a star filled the night sky. The light then gave birth to a dark, red vortex. Its composition started to swirl, gradually, getting bigger in size. It progressively increased its momentum spinning violently in the heavens creating a nauseating effect. It was massive. Its presence was visible across the planet. An eerie yet mesmerising sight to behold.

Panic gripped all who laid eyes on it. There was no question that it would be the bearer of bad energy.

“You know what to do,” Cypher said to Maya with reassurance.

They both knew this time would come.

After a short time, out of the vortex came a massive army of Ophidion’s evil minions. He fancied an aerial attack for his first homecoming party. Leading the onslaught were the dragons. The most fearsome and deadly. Various kinds and colours; all with their unique and destructive capabilities. They were being ridden by gruesome goblins and trolls. Evil was their birthright. Next appeared massive flying vampire bats which were almost as big as the dragons. Then came Ophidion himself showing off his power. He entered the planet like a wolf leading his pack from the rear. And he was out for blood. Lots of it.

Both Maya and Cypher instinctively knew it was Ophidion, however unrecognisable he appeared. Maya nodded at Cypher as they connected their hands together. They both teleported into their quarters containing 5 members of their Tritem family.

“You need to go now!” Maya exclaimed with a commanding voice. Her instructions were clear. She looked at the five family members whose faces held a look of concern.

The moment she finished her sentence, both Maya and Cypher disappeared. Time was of the essence. They teleported to the battlefield intent on capturing Ophidion and stopping his minions from destroying the planet and causing absolute carnage to their people. They were prepared for this battle. It was imminent.

The people of the city looked up at the sky in horror as they watched in slow motion a massive red dragon leading the charge opened its wings and came to a halt as it hovered still in the air displaying its impressive wingspan for all to see. Panic spread quickly. Some of the onlookers started to scream hysterically. Everyone ran in fear of losing their life to find safety. The red dragon was preparing for its first attack as the inside of its mouth filled with a fiery light. Building. Growing. Intensifying. And then…release.

Seconds after Maya and Cypher left, the walls of the room exploded. The red dragon shot an enormous fireball like a rocket from its mouth making a direct hit on their building. Massive blocks of the stone wall were sent in all directions and smashed into those hiding in the room. The five family members were sent to the ground. They were rattled and shaken by the blast. Zander looked around the room assessing the damage. He gingerly rose to his feet and saw his friends lying on the ground. Concerned, he called out to his comrades.

“Is everyone OK?”

After moments that felt like an eternity, he heard sounds that brought him relief. He received four replies that simply stated “Yes!”.

After being knocked to the ground, the other four friends got up to their feet helping each other to steady themselves. They wiped off bits of rubble that lay on their garments. The dust slowly settled in front of their eyes as they watched it fall to the ground. It felt like a surreal moment in time.

“We need to go now!” Zander commanded the group as they started to wade through the rubble trying to get out of the room which was now an open space. The blast caused serious damage to the building.

Slightly wounded by the blast but still able to continue with adrenaline rushing through them, the five companions hurried towards the Hall of Edion located nearby their desolated quarters.

As they rushed towards the hall, they saw bodies lying dead, burned and mutilated from the blast. Body parts scattered all over the place. They were hardly recognisable. This shocked the group to their core. Never had they witnessed such carnage.

Anxiously, Zander stuck his hand in his pocket to check that he still had what he needed to get everyone to safety. He could feel it secure in his possession as he continued hastily with his loved ones towards the hall.

Arriving in the hall, the 5 family members saw before them their way out.

A massive gateway with ancient hieroglyphs etched around the arch. A time portal.

Zander reached into his pocket and pulled out a dense crystal that illuminated the room with a blue-green glow and was fashioned like the sign of infinity. It was the Time Key of Infinity. It had the ability to take one where they needed to be.

Zander quickly placed the key into the keyhole next to the time portal and spoke the words of the hieroglyphs etched around the arch.

“Seek and you shall find the Truth. The Truth shall set you free.”

The portal burst into light and the five family members hurried into the light of the time portal.

They all shot through the gate.

And then light surrounded them.

Chapter 3: The Calling

“Go!”…

The moment that one word entered the mind, it was fully understood that the journey had begun from the outermost parts of the Universe.

Destination: The Milky Way.

The sage woke with electricity flowing through his entire body from his feet to his long flowing white hair as his eyes opened. The time had come.

He left his quarters feeling even more alive than he had in many years. There was a sudden shift in the Universe. It was a powerful shift indicating something of great significance was taking place.

A few moments later in his stride, he felt the need to stop in his tracks to receive an important message.

The sage closed his eyes as he felt a message coming into his mind’s eye.

He meditated for a moment longer preparing to receive it.

As if being delivered within a natural mystic from the Universe, four words appeared from the dark recesses of his soul.

“DARIEN SHOCKRA. BERMUDA TRIANGLE.”

The sage opened his eyes and continued his pace. This time a bit faster.

Making his way down the ancient, dank corridors, Kai headed towards the Halls of Amenti where he would catch a one-way ticket to an exotic island. Considered a holiday destination for most, this would be no holiday for the sage.

This was personal. This was his calling.

He was being banished from his galaxy, Harikane, for his strong belief that he was chosen to help save the Universe. A massive claim for most. His people called it heresy. They didn’t understand. He was made for greater things. The Almighty could certainly vouch for such a claim.

The people of his planet collectively agreed that he should serve a penance for his apparent pride and self-righteousness. They did not understand him. At all. How could they? They would never understand his level of consciousness and attainment of connectivity to the energy of the entire Universe.

He trained for many years to acquire his magical and mystical powers that were passed down through his bloodline. His powers were great, allowing him to help others through the form of revelation, advice, guidance, and occasionally help in combat. Alchemy was considered a right of passage in his family as well.

The sage’s vibrant grey hair made him look like a distinguished gentleman. He wore a long-sleeved white shirt and black leather vest with smart, matching black coloured slacks and boots with silver buckles. The sight of him pleasing to behold. Yet mysterious. Most times misunderstood by his peers.

After a few moments, he had finally reached his destination.
