I guess he got what he deserved in the end. It was barely hitting dawn, as I was making my way to the bar to meet some old and new associates of mine. I was only aware of two of them, Douglass who I've known for the past few years and Pete, a street individual who we only brought on as a point of transportation for anyone I work with who needed it. Once I finally arrived at the bar, Pete was stationed outside of the storage area where Douglass was contained to keep him from contaminating the situation which was already toxic enough.
I cross the corner and greet Pete, making sure he has not been followed, also checking to see if he knows of the relevance of Douglass, not that it mattered at this point, I kind of knew that Pete was not going to be a lasting member of the group. I knock on the door to get Douglass, his hangover is clearly kicking his ass, he stumbles around the storage room a bit. "I'm not letting you in!" he cries, "something bad always happens when you have a gun!" He is of course referring to the only time that I had a gun which I ended up having to shoot him to contain the situation, course I suppose he's still unaware that I shot Thomas in the skull and set it up to make it look like a suicide. I had Pete kick the door in to let us enter the building, of course Douglass was not among the audience that was in support of this decision. Nor was he in support of my decision to murder Thomas, right as our argument was getting heated, there was a knock at the door. Pete answers it without thinking.
"What the hell is goin on in 'ere?" It was the bartender that I paid off earlier, he betrayed our agreement, he was not supposed to come back, without even thinking I shot him through the heart with my uzi which I had in hand in case of the copies deciding that they want to take me to the ball game. Before Douglass got a chance to react, I smashed him across the face with my gun to knock him out and keep him sane, "Take him wherever, just insure he is confused when he gets there" I order Pete.
After I get both of them out of there I drag the bartender and put his body in the closet before calling Matthias, the team's body snatcher. While in the midst of waiting, A car pulls up, of course just my luck. He communicates with me calling me "John" who I can only assume is the corpse I put in the closet. I pretend to be John, the building makes the voice sort of muffled so it must be hard to tell who is actually talking to you. He was coming around to come inside, I hid behind some of the storage items, the man enters the building and has a very Boston sounding accent, however by my luck he recieves a phone call and decides to step outside to take it. This gives me the opportunity to search for a way out, there's lots of tools and equipment in the building, first thing I notice is the sound system laid out on the walls, likely cast throughout the building, a control has to be somewhere.... There by the counter luckily I have a pipe to my right as well, and the plan simply falls right into my lap. Quickly back into hiding now.
He re-enters the building seconds after I get back into hiding, I first turn the music on which gets him distracted and plan to strike him over the head while he's distracted, as I'm sneaking up on him the stupid bastard turns around, my immediate impulse is to strike him in the face with the pipe I'm holding. This clearly did not kill him so it's time to keep striking him with the pipe, I must have cracked all of his ribs on his left side and punctured most of his organs, but this bastard persists on staying alive. Very well, time to search for another useful killing tool. Quickly I notice the cabinet to my right, I'll search that, he is not moving anywhere quickly. I find something sharp to do the job, right as he's crawling up on a trash can, perfect place to dispose of the blood as well, I stab him through the throat, he does not quite die quickly but he does die. It is now time for me to make my escape as well as change my appearance.
I escaped the scene quickly. I blacked out on my way to the barber's, but I'm here now, have to hurry and get my haircut before the police start putting out wanted posters before me, besides another target of mine is working this shift anyways and I'll need to follow her home, the newly widowed Vivian Calhoun, former employee of mine, partner of Thomas Marcus, and a sister of a well know R.I.C.O operative, Everett Calhoun. I'd need to make her death as clean as possible, if I did not I would soon have her brother and his squad on my ass faster than a roadrunner. I cross into barbershop and sign in under the false name of "Arthur Mitchell", I'll pay in cash to keep myself from being traced, also need to scan the places for any cameras as well as televisions broadcasting my name.
I managed to avoid being spotted by Vivian on my way to my seat, I'm escorted by a very nice hispanic named Jenifer. She cuts my hair and I'm out before Vivian is giving me the opportunity to wait for her to leave, my car parked in the parking lot directly next to the barber shop. She exits around 2:30PM, clearly her shift is over and she is on her way home, or she is on break. Either way she will not be returning to that job very soon. She drives home at the pace you'd expect someone to after a long work day, I remain two or three cars back to keep from suspicion, if the cops had already got to her it is likely she gave up my name as she was one of the few who witnessed Marcus' and I's argument back at the studio. Vivian being the only one close to Marcus has to be the first one to go.
