The following two stories are a tiny collection of Easter Bunny stories, just something short and light-hearted to read to your children at Easter.
I often only have a rough idea of where I want to go with a story and it keeps taking shape in the course of my writing.
For example, as I was writing about all of the classes in the first story the Easter bunnies have to take to perfect their skills, more and more ideas kept popping into my head that I inserted into the text bit by bit.
Luckily, in the age of computers, we can simply go back, delete and re-write but I still remember the days of typewriters......
I'm sorry, but I don't share the nostalgia of the typewriter era – I'm very happy to enjoy the commodities of the modern computer era! It's much faster and definitely more convenient. Also with regard to research.
I put a rather modern spin on the second Easter story. Even bunnies have come to embrace certain aspects of modern technology. The difference between them and human beings? They want to spread happiness. Human beings usually just want to enrich themselves.
My bunny family combines magic with technology to achieve the best results. But not even the greatest invisibility spell can safe Joey from getting caught, particularly when he forgets to activate it.
Will his family be able to rescue him?
Dive into modern rabbit society with Stevie, Joey, Nelly and their dad and enjoy Easter with them!

Jumper was super excited. Today was her first day of Easter Bunny School!
She was the youngest of eight siblings and all of her brothers and sisters had become Easter Egg deliverers. Each was responsible for three different counties, which kept them in a frenzy for about two weeks out of fifty-two.
When they did not hide Easter eggs they hooked up with family and friends. None of them had displayed any interest in starting their own families yet; they were having too much fun enjoying their freedom!
Jumper did not care about any of that. She was just happy to be finally able to start school. She was also hoping to make new friends.
Education at Bunny School lasted a full year. Attendance was from eight to twelve every day, excluding weekends. There was no homework but they had to repeat their week's lesson once on the weekend with the help of a parent.
At the end of each topic there was a test. If you failed, you would have to repeat all of the previous lessons and take the test once more.
However, the teachers were very good and patient almost to a fault. As far as Jumper knew there had only been two recorded cases in the history of the Easter Bunny School where students had to repeat a topic. And that was ages ago.
At eight o`clock sharp on Monday morning Jumper was waiting in front of the school together with ten other rabbits. Their class was small because it had not been a prosperous year for rabbits. It had been raining incessantly and food had been scarce. Many baby rabbits had not survived.
As a result, there was currently a shortage of rabbits to fill the various positions which led to some of the experienced rabbits having to postpone their retirement.
Rabbits retired after five working seasons. They firmly believed in the appropriate balance of work and life to keep their rabbit society happy.
Jumper recognized one other rabbit, the boy who lived in the burrow down the road from her, but they had never played together. He seemed lonely, but whenever Jumper approached him he hopped away quickly.
<He must be really shy,> Jumper thought.
