The writing format it completely different.
Also, this is one of my very first screenplays when I was 13 or 14 years old, and movies really inspired me to write. Please don't judge me that I had written it kinda like the movie in a way, but my own version.
I'm also typing it the way I have written it on paper. I will, however, fix the punctuation. I just thought you'd like to enjoy what I did in my younger years where no one else was allowed to see!

SCENE 1: FLASHBACK
INT: VANESSA'S BEDROOM - LATE NIGHT
The scene is set in a darkened room.
The only light is from the moonlight coming from an opened window.
The wind blows leaves around the room and the long window curtain across the floor.
The door flies open and a girl runs in.
We'll call her VANESSA.
VANESSA closes the door and locks it behind her, breathing hard; frightened.
VANESSA:
(Scared)
Now what?
She looks around the room, completely lost.
Her eyes focused on the closet door.
VANESSA:
The closet.
VANESSA runs into the closet and closes that door behind her also, turning on the light.
VANESSA:
Where is it? I know it's here.
VANESSA moves boxes and clothes out if her way, revealing a secret door.
She tries her hardest to get the door open, glancing back over her shoulder constantly.
VANESSA:
(CONT'D)
No... Come on!
The scene cuts to zombies all over in the bedroom. Some are hunched over, walking on their legs, feet deformed, arms up, clothes torn, or parts of their bodies missing.
Their eyes are red and yellow, with black rotting teeth, and pale skin.
We're back on VANESSA.
VANESSA:
Come on!
VANESSA struggles with the door more until the door knob falls off.
VANESSA:
No!
The zombies look over at the closet as the handle hits the floor. Growling as they make their way towards thr door and begin to bang on it.
VANESSA:
(CONT'D, Scared)
I'm so dead.
VANESSA looks up at the ceiling and sees the attic entrance.
Bingo.
Pulling on the attached string, VANESSA gets the door open and the small ladder down.
Zombies break open the closet door as VANESSA makes her way upwards.
We can hear VANESSA'S screams as the scene goes black.
