The third collection of adventures with Andy and his pet spider Harry. Harry already knows that the world that he lives in is far more dangerous than Andy's life on Tillybrook Farm, but when Andy makes himself as small as a spider, Harry has to try to keep him safe at all times; sometimes though that is not as easy as you may think.

Where is Harry?
Harry and the Ladybird Princess
I had never been out in the dark with Harry before, and I felt a little uneasy about the mid-night adventure that we had planned. It could be exciting being outside in the dark, but being the size of a little spider made me look at everything much differently.
I had been right to feel worried. I had thought that being Harry’s size was scary before, but the moment that the sun was replaced by the moon, everywhere seemed even bigger, and even more threatening than it had before. I began to wonder if it might be a whole lot safer to simply stay at home.
We had been invited; or rather Harry had been invited, to the ladybird ball. I was going as his guest, and even though neither of us were ladybirds it didn’t matter, everyone in the insect world around Tillybrook Farm had been invited.
I had never been to a ladybird ball before and I didn’t have a thing to wear, but then Harry didn’t get dressed up either; but he looked fine just the way he was.
No matter how I try, I always look quite untidy; or rather my Mum says that I do. I dress for comfort. You can’t wear your best clothes when you spend as much time as I do with your best friend, especially when your best friend is a spider. So, I was going to the ladybird ball in my usual jeans and t-shirt. I thought that the other guests wouldn’t have a change of clothes either, so I didn’t feel too bad about it.
Harry looked more excited than I had ever seen him before; he wouldn’t stop trying to smooth out two hairs on the top of his head which insisted on standing upright, and then he kept asking me how he looked. When Harry asked for the tenth time...
“Do I look alright to you?” and I had answered... “Yes Harry you look fine.”
I began to realise that for some reason the ladybird ball was far more important to Harry than I had first thought.
“What’s really happening tonight Harry,” I asked, while he continued the battle with the hairs on his head.
“What do you mean?” he asked trying to make his voice sound the same as it always did. I could hear an over excited sound in the way that he spoke that was not usually there, and I could tell that he wasn’t telling me everything.
