Scriptures:John 5:14: Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him, ‘See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.'”
James 2:20: “Faith without works is useless.”
Looking critically at the above scriptures you will observe that Jesus Christ frown at sin. There is no way you can heal a sick person if you are committing sin. Secondly you must believe that you can heal. Please note that the Bible is very clear that every Christian can heal the sick and must heal the sick. You don’t have to be a pastor or General overseer, or a prophet before you can heal the sick. God has already given you the power to heal the sick. If you are a real Christian, you are a potential healer. According to the book of Mark 16:17,18 which says: And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Why Churches fail to heal the sick nowadays
One of the main reason miracles don’t happen in majority of churches today is because, they teach false doctoring. They don’t teach according to the Bible the word of God.
Majority of Churches are now full of so call immorality Christians, committing so many sinful acts, even in some cases, pastors and so call prophets are all victim of this shameful act.
Majority of Churches are now operating as a business in mind derailing from the real teaching of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
These are some of the reasons so many believers come up short when they try to cast out demons and they lay hands on the sick but no result, in fact they are powerless despite the fact that Jesus assured us that signs would follow us if we believe.
Majority of Christians don’t have faith in God. If you have faith in God, He will perform a miracle in your life without you asking for it. It is time for us to change our ways to that of the Lord, for His power to dwell in us.
For you to perform a miracle in people, you must be completely holy and free from Sin and focus less on the sin of those who need a miracle.
For you to perform a miracle and heal the sick, you need to spend less time listening and watching various types of games, soap operas, instead spend more time watching TV shows on Gods words
To perform miracle and heal the sick, you must be holy like Jesus Christ.
You must not be ashamed to propagate the gospel of our Jesus Christ and walk according to his will
You must believe all God's promises.
You must measure yourself to Jesus alone
You must deny your fleshly desires with fasting.
You must be blameless like God Himself.
You have to believe that Without God, you could do nothing.
You must not engage in shallow and pointless discussions.
The question is, are you willing to pay the price? The decision is yours.
I want you to understand that God created you according to His image: you are a Super Human. Please remember that you are a Son or Daughter of God, and your job includes healing the sick.
Anyone who says he is a Christian should live as Christ did. 1 John 2:6: If you see with an open mind and not through some religious garbage or denominational junk, you will know that Jesus spent a major part of His time healing the sick. Healing the sick is up to you because Jesus Christ has already paid the price: His blood is for our sins
God does not make us sick because He provided everything we need to prevent sickness, but we got sick because of three reasons.
The earth is corrupt.The DevilOur own stupidity/mistakesThe Bible made it clear that the Devil comes to steal, kill and destroy. Jesus healed the sick everywhere He went so God’s will is to heal the sick.
Please be informed that Jesus healed the sick and He commanded us to do so, not to pray for the sick. The Bible further indicated that we should pray for the sick only once and every other time, the Bible says heal the sick. The secret to healing the sick is to do exactly as Jesus Christ did. He never prayed for the sick, but instead He commanded the sick to be healed.
