Lily

Can the one who loves you most also be the one to hurt you deeply? Can someone who promises to safeguard your heart from sinking end up being the reason it drowns?

In the vibrant hubbub of Mumbai, amidst the intersecting chaos of life and endless opportunities, lies the prestigious Bombay University. Among its labyrinthine corridors and lively social circles dwelled Lily—a spirited beauty hailing from the serene Western Ghats, with a heart as expansive as the city's skyline and an unexpected fondness for a small, prickly companion named Spike.

Towering skyscrapers adorned the azure skies, painting the cityscape with a vibrant mosaic of lights. Lily absorbed this visual symphony, each building a testament to soaring aspirations, while Spike, nestled on her hostel window sill, stood as a steadfast observer of her journey.

Her days were a medley of laughter-filled moments and profound conversations that stretched into the late hours within cozy hostel rooms. The space hummed with warmth, adorned by her 'I am' affirmation posters and the aroma of masala chai intermingled with textbooks. Lily, with Spike by her side, effortlessly navigated this space, her laughter blending with the buzz of discussions.

The taste of camaraderie lingered in every shared meal and every late-night snack. Spike silently witnessed these moments from its spot on the windowsill. The tang of street food and the sweetness of sugarcane juice became as much a part of their conversations as the words they exchanged, with Spike quietly observing every interaction.
