Part 1

At first when Rob heard that a tourist was renting the Tresso Villa, he wasn't too happy about the news. While Cosgro was away, Rob would have the whole hillside to himself. That would be spoiled with this tourist traipsing around, maybe even knocking on Cosgro's door, wanting to be neighborly.

That was some seriously bad luck. Hardly anyone ever rented the villa. It was in bad shape and far from the beach.  Plus it could only be reached on foot, going up and down the steep slope. What kind of crazy guy would rent a place like that? That's what Rob wanted to find out. If the guy was going to ruin his few weeks of freedom, Rob was at least going to get a good look at him.

Knowing his way around, Rob climbed down the familiar paths from Cosgro's hilltop mansion to the villa. The villa was a third of the way down the slope, not far from the waterfall. That's where Rob liked to go and take a dip. Though the mansion had an infinity pool, Rob liked the waterfall better. It was more natural, and he knew Cosgro couldn't leer at him there.

As Rob made his way through the forest, the midmorning sunshine was filtering in from the east. It made the thick, shiny leaves glint while the more delicate ones turned translucent, their ribs showing. The heat was intensifying, but it still wasn't too bad under the thick foliage. As Rob walked through the forest carelessly, he almost revealed himself to the newcomer. He saw him just in time to stop.

His heart beating fast, Rob ducked down and watched. The man was leaving the villa and heading toward the waterfall. From his hiding place, Rob got a partial look at the man. He was tall and nicely built. His hair was short, sandy brown and neatly cut.

Just from that one quick look, Rob had the impression that this guy hadn't had a moment of fun in his whole life. It was in the way he carried himself so straight even though no one was watching. Of course Rob was watching, but he didn't know that. The rigid posture did look good on a guy with broad shoulders and a strong back. What a stroke of luck to have this good-looking guy staying so close and right when Cosgro was away. The guy was probably straight, but in Rob's imagination, he wasn't.

Rob followed the guy as he walked through the forest slowly and uncertainly. He had arrived only that morning and wasn't sure of the way. Now and then, he craned his neck to try and catch sight of the waterfall, which could already be heard. There was a rolled up towel under his arm, and he was only wearing black swim trunks and sneakers on his feet. That meant he was going to take a dip. Not a bad way to start the morning for that guy or for Rob.

Looking forward to the show, Rob followed him and kept out of sight. In the forest, where big and small trees were piled up on top of each other, neither one of them could get a clear view. As long as he didn't get too close, the low branches let Rob hide easily. They were also the reason he couldn't get a good look at the tourist until he reached the small clearing around the waterfall. Rob couldn't wait to see him better.

When he arrived, the newcomer found himself in an open space that surrounded the waterfall. While he took in the sight, Rob hung back on the edge of the forest and watched him. The waterfall came down into a deep pool underneath. It sent up a fine mist and made the rocks glisten. The water in the natural pool was blue and clear with rays of sunshine playing on its surface. From experience, Rob knew the water was cool even on the hottest days.

After toeing off his sneakers, the man stood on the edge of the water. He seemed to be admiring the view of the water cascading down in sheets. At first Rob could only see him from the back, but he liked what he saw. His skin was pale as it stretched over a smooth back that went from broad shoulders to a slim waist. The swim trunks were loose. Rob could still see a hint of the firm curve of his ass. The legs were nicely muscled just like the arms. Rob's eyes ran up and down this impressive body. Having someone staying at the villa was turning from bad news to very good news.

Then things got even better. Bending at the waist, the man removed his swim trunks in one smooth motion and stepped out of them. He set them aside neatly, and then he bent down again to pick up his towel and spread it out on the ground. That gave Rob another great view of his firm ass. He shivered at the sight. Maybe this wasn't so good. This guy was too much. Rob wasn't expecting an annoyance to turn into this heart pounding, cock stiffening temptation.

Trim and nicely defined, his body lit by sunshine, the man took two measured steps to the edge of the pool and dived in. With his arms forward, he went in at a cautious angle, not sure of the depth. He dove into the pool with such precision, like shooting a harpoon into the water. It was beautiful. Rob found himself smiling and shuddering, pushing his hand down to rub his cock through the front of his shorts.

The man stayed under for a while. Rob held his breath as he waited for him to surface. He even stopped his hand on his crotch. The man broke the surface suddenly, and Rob was grinning again. He watched him swim a few laps. His arms cut the water smoothly. After a while, he pulled himself out of the water and went to lie on the towel.

Rob kept watching and smiling, absently squeezing his cock through his shorts. He wanted to get his fill of looking at that man before he went off to take care of his hard-on. But that didn't seem to be happening. His eyes couldn't get enough of him.

In the end, Rob was forced to leave when a bird flew up from a tree near him. He didn't want to be seen spying so he left. But now he carried this weird new feeling with him. It was only half arousal. The other half was something more powerful, a need and a desire Rob had never known before.

Thinking he heard something, James sat up on his towel and turned. He looked into the forest. It grew thick and vibrant with bright green leaves and a few flowers lit by sunshine. The leaves rustled in the warm breeze, but there was no one there. It was unlikely that there would be. James had chosen this place because it was remote. His villa was one of only two houses in the area. It was far from the beach as well as the town, but the waterfall made up for that.

The dip in the cool water of the pool had been refreshing. His tranquil mood was now disturbed by the noise so he got up and put his swim trunks on. Throwing his damp towel over his shoulder, James headed back to the villa. He still went slowly, enjoying the shade of the forest and the sweet scent of some tropical flowers he couldn't see.

Arriving at the villa within minutes, he looked up at the two story house. The white paint was chipping but that didn't mar the narrow building's attractive lines. It had been a pretty place once. Too bad it wasn't being maintained properly. Still, it would serve James just fine.

When James arrived early that morning, the real-estate agent from Wilbury acted as his guide and unlocked the place for him. He didn't show him much, but he did point out the waterfall as they passed it. After looking at the villa and doing some unpacking, the waterfall was where James wanted to be. Now he was back refreshed and energized by his swim.

The villa was covered with vines as if it was destined to become part of the forest if someone didn't take it in hand soon. As he went inside, James blinked a few times while his eyes adjusted to the dim light of the interior.

The first floor of the villa was mostly taken up by the kitchen. The rest was storage. A living room and bedroom were on the second floor. Before going upstairs, James grabbed a bottle of water from the refrigerator. There wasn't anything else in there. He would have to do some shopping.

When he first arrived, James had been worried that he would find the villa closed up and stuffy. It was quite the opposite. In preparation for his arrival, all the windows had been opened and a fragrant breeze swept through from one side of the house to the other. Good thing the place was so drafty since there was no air-conditioning.

When he was unpacking, James couldn't put down any of his papers without sticking them under a paperweight unless he wanted to be picking them up off the floor. While he was here, James wanted to put his time to good use. He was going to prepare a presentation and work on a speech he would be giving the committee so a new project could get approval and funding. James now looked at the desk where he had set up his laptop and papers. He wasn't willing to tackle them yet.

Attracted by the view outside, he stepped through a set of French doors out onto the veranda. Shaded by the trees that surrounded the villa and cooled by the breeze, the veranda wrapped around one side of the building. It had some comfortable wicker chairs and James sat in one of them to drink his water and enjoy the quiet of his forest view.

Soon James grew restless and put on some clothes so he could go into town. Wilbury was the nearest town, half hour's walk from there. The walk was really more of a hike, especially going uphill to the villa. Going downhill was challenging in its own way. When it got steep, James had to slow down and grab hold of tree branches so he wouldn't tumble down. The footpath meandered through the forest. Thick vegetation obscured it at every turn. James saw that the narrow path was in danger of being overgrown.  It was a mystery to him how it wasn't swallowed up by the jungle around it.

That mystery was solved when James saw an old man coming up the path. He had a huge rucksack on his back and a machete in his hand. He was using the blade to cut at any branches and vines that encroached on the path. James greeted him and stopped to introduce himself. But after a quick "Good day," the man continued on.

James smiled after him. That was a man after his own heart. He guessed that the old man must live in the large house on top of the hill. James had only glimpsed the house. It was sprawling, modern and also forbidding maybe because it loomed over everything like a medieval castle. James might not like the look of the place, but that taciturn old man was just the kind of neighbor James needed at the moment. Not to mention he was keeping that path clear. James was grateful for that as well.

The path was the only way to get to and from town. The villa was inaccessible by any other means. James liked that, but only within reason. He did need to go to town for supplies and an occasional cooked meal. Wilbury was also the only place where he could use his cell phone and go online. The villa only had a landline, and he was told it wasn't reliable.

Just as he remembered from earlier that morning, James was about halfway down the hillside when Wilbury came into view. The path turned and came out onto an outcropping of dark rock. It allowed James to take in the magnificent view. The ocean stretched out under a clear, blue sky. The white lines of waves rushing toward shore led his eye to Wilbury down below.

The coastal town was the only one on the island. It had a harbor where only the smaller boats could dock. The big ones could be seen in the distance. They had to anchor far from the shore, beyond the mouth of the bay.

The town was picaresque, hugging the coastline. Red roofs and white buildings made a pretty crescent of civilization against the expanse of the sea. The sea was deep blue further out but turned turquoise closer to land. The beaches gleamed white, dotted with sunbathers and their umbrellas. A pleasant view, but that's not where James wanted to be. He didn't want the crowds or the social life of the town, but he did want to eat.

James continued down the slope. He lost the view as he got closer to town. The vegetation here was dense with large shrubs, many of them flowering. Walking on the side of a paved road that went into town, James finally entered the outskirts of Wilbury.

In the town proper, the streets were teeming with tourists. They went in and out of stores, bars and restaurants. That made it difficult for James to find a quiet place to eat. He finally settled on a café by the harbor.

Out the windows of Wharfside Café, he could see the dock lined with boats. Their white hulls gleamed in the sun. His waiter was young, attractive, and unfortunately, talkative. His name was Tom and he was tentatively flirting with James. He didn't seem sure if James was gay or not, and James didn't mind keeping it that way. He was glad when a party of six came in and kept Tom occupied.

After his lunch, James stopped at a small grocery store so he could stock his kitchen a little bit. He couldn't cook, and ordering in wasn't a reasonable option. Knowing he had to carry the bags up the hill, James had to think hard about what to buy and what he could do without for now. It seemed cruel to ask for his groceries to be delivered up there.

When James was on the busy sidewalk and ready to head back up to the villa, a bookstore caught his eye. He crossed the street and looked up at the sign to make sure he had read it right. The bookstore was very unfortunately named Burns' Books.

An old fashioned bell above the door sounded as he went in. The familiar smell of old and new books hit him right away. Two ceiling fans were turning furiously to cool down the place, but the elderly man minding the store still fanned himself with a colorful postcard. Next to the register, James saw recent bestsellers, newspapers and magazines. The rest of the store was full of used books.

"Burns' Books?" James said to the man behind the counter.

The old man smiled. "My name is Burns, and well, I just couldn't help myself. Everyone does get a kick out of it."

James nodded and started looking around for something to read.

"Looking for anything in particular?" Mr. Burns asked, seeing him flipping through a few random volumes.

"Just something to help pass the time," James told him. "I'm staying at the villa on the hill. There's no internet. Even my cell phone doesn't work up there."

"If you tell me your preferences, I might be able to recommend something," Mr. Burns offered.

James wasn't sure what he was looking for. "I'd like to browse, see what catches my eye."

Since Mr. Burns seemed eager to talk, James asked him about his neighbors at the house on top of the hill.

"Cosgro you mean." Burns made a face. "He's richer than God and has a bigger ego too. But there's only Mr. Orin and young Rob up there now. Cosgro took off on his yacht."

"I believe I might have met Mr. Orin," James said. He was glad to hear there was one less person up there, and he already knew Mr. Orin wouldn't bother him. That only left this Rob. Hopefully he wouldn't be too friendly either.

Cosgro had only been gone a few days and already the bruises on Rob's neck were almost gone. He felt like he could breathe again. His walks through the forest weren't an escape any more. It was almost like the days when his father was alive. That's when Rob used to explore the hillside without a care in the world.

He wasn't exactly exploring now. It was more like a hunt. Since that morning, he hadn't stopped thinking about the man he saw skinny-dipping. Rob replayed his swim, his sure approach to the edge, his dive. The way he deftly pulled himself out of the water was Rob's favorite part. That's when he first got a look at his big, beautiful cock. He wanted it. It was as simple as that.

After the man left, Rob couldn't help himself. He stripped down and dived into the pool. He chose the same spot. That way he and the tourist shared the same space though at different times. He imagined their bodies gliding together under the water and then surfacing pressed against each other. Rob could almost feel what it would be like to have that man's arms around him but not quite. Maybe some things had to be experienced first hand, and no one had ever held Rob like that. Certainly not Cosgro when he was making use of him.

A little later, Rob went over to the villa where the man was staying. He wanted another look at him, maybe to make sure he was as attractive as he seemed at first. Rob lurked around the villa until he spotted the man coming up the hill with a grocery bag in hand. Stupidly, Rob moved to get a better view of him. That was a mistake. The man looked his way just then and Rob barely managed to duck out of sight.

As he sneaked away, Rob was pretty sure he wasn't seen. Stalking wouldn't make a good first impression. Actually, Rob shouldn't be making any kind of impression. He needed to stay away from that guy, but he was pretty sure he wouldn't be able to help himself.

After seeing him naked, Rob was obsessed with him. What would that cock feel like inside him? Why did he think it would feel sweet and good when every time he had Cosgro's cock inside him, it felt painful and wrong? It was weird that all of a sudden Rob wanted what he always hated before. And damn did he want it.

The craving hit him hardest when he went to bed that night. All day he felt the desire building inside him. Alone in bed, in the dark, all he had was his need for that man. He wanted to lick every inch of his skin and, at the end of it, have his cock.

His own cock grew harder than it had ever been. The covers were piled on the floor. Rob slid down his boxers and kicked them off. He was naked and sweat-drenched on the narrow bed, just him, his newborn fantasies and his cock. With insane urgency, he jerked off. Pumping his fist like crazy, hips rising off the bed, he came hard and grit his teeth so he wouldn't scream.

Collapsing like he was dead, he felt calm for a little while. He still saw the newcomer sunbathing, skin glistening with drops of water. He fisted his hands as he imagined running them over his impressive body. Of course he failed at falling asleep while thinking about that man laid out on the towel and what he wanted to do to him. His need started cresting again, and his hand was back on his hard cock.
