Introduction

Prayer is an opportunity to spend time with God. To really understand how God’s heart works, you need to pray. Jesus says He no longer calls us his servants, but calls us His friends. Talking with God develops a deeper relationship with Him.

Prayer is an orchestrated communication between you and God, and is a two way thing. We don’t only present our supplication to God through prayers; we also want to hear from Him. But hearing from God is not for milk believers, only for meat believers – I mean those who understand God and have grown to learn how to pray to God, hear from Him and receive answers to their prayers. Since this has been a great challenge to many Christians, hence this book is written to enable readers pray effective spiritual warfare prayers of various intents through the knowledge and power of prophecy inbuilt in them.

For prayers to be effective, certain scenario must be well appropriated. For instance, one needs to be focus. Your prayer must be targeted, just like the way the bullet in a gun is targeted towards the enemy before the trigger of the gun is released to do the havoc. When many Christians pray, they lack the trigger that is needed to be released in order for them to hit their prayer target, whether the prayer is aimed at God or the devil and his agents.

By the power of the Holy Spirit, while writing this book, I’ve come to know that one of the triggers needed for prayers to be answered is PROPHECY. For the record, a trigger is a small projecting tongue in a firearm that, when pressed by the finger, actuates the mechanism that discharges the weapon – bullet.

A good knowledge of prophecy before prayers are made and during prayer sessions enables the person praying to engage in what I call revelation prayers or prophetic prayers. This is that wonderful level in which you pray by revelation and design, not by default. How happy will you be when during your prayer session, you’re continually led by the Holy Spirit on what and how to pray. Suddenly, you just discover that your spiritual eyes become opened and you have revelations about what is happening in the enemies’ camp, and what God and His emissaries are doing to ensure that you triumph in life. What a great grace? That is what this book is expected to launch you into.

As you read along, you will be asked to purge yourself first by praying your way into God’s forgiveness, secondly, have a well grounded knowledge of how to manifest and triumph in the gift of prophecy, thirdly, some sets of prayer points to pray for prophetic anointing for total breakthroughs. And lastly, a release of special power-packed prayer points for you to possess your possession so that you will begin to live a life of bliss, signs and wonders, triumphing over your enemies.

Chapter 1

Prayers for forgiveness and sanctification

Most times, we are very eager to receive what we want from God that we leave out one of the weightier matters – praying for forgiveness, and asking the Lord to sanctify us.

Isa 59:1-2

Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear. 2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.

Prayer to God for Forgiveness of Sins by a Believer

If you’ve already given your life to Christ before now, you can go ahead and pray this prayer of forgiveness:

Forgive me my sins, O Lord; forgive me the sins of my youth and the sins of mine age, the sins of my soul and the sins of my body, my secret and my whispering sins, the sins I have done to please myself and the sins I have done to please others. Forgive those sins which I know, and the sins which I know not; forgive them, O Lord, forgive them all of Thy great goodness. Amen
