Adam Kay opens This is Going to Hurt by discussing his education in becoming a physician. He talks about how education is especially arbitrary for college students who decide sixteen to pursue medicine, and also how faculties care only about meaningless sports while comparing college students for entry instead of qualities that show feasible fulfillment in the clinical subject. At the end of clinical college, Kay comments that, in retrospect, he was completely unprepared to enter into his new function as a resident doctor.
