“I heard.”  She murmured.

Karen hugged her sister tightly, absolutely surprised to see that she hadn’t been taken to the Games yet.

“Look, you have an option; let me go in your place.  You are allowed as long as the person that’s replacing you is from the same area.”  Karen explained.

“No way, I can’t do that, it’s too dangerous…” Linda whispered.

“Oh come on, I’ve had sex with like half the guys in this area for food and money, I can handle myself.  You on the other hand, you’re still trying to go steady with Mike.”  Karen replied.

Linda looked up, tears in her eyes.  “But…”

Karen shook her head.  “No, I am replacing you and that’s final.”

Linda nodded her head in defeat; she knew her sister was right.  The Horny Games weren’t dangerous per se, but women have been known to get lost in the labyrinth created by the Government.  Of the 68 previous annual games, about half had actual winners that were back in their homes, telling their tales.  The remainders, only time would tell if they could ever leave the mazes full of monsters.  Linda actually worked for the Government, helping design many of the traps within the labyrinth full of bioengineered monsters.  Their parents had also worked for the Government, part of the biotechnology division that created the monstrosities in the maze.  Their mother was a former participant in the Games and was one of the contestants that never came back home.

When the world reached its population peak so long ago, wars broke out, cities were decimated, countries demolished and supplies became limited.  Now, in what remained of North America, a new country had formed under the Government.  To limit the chances of another population war, the Government broke the country into separate areas and strictly forbid any population growth.  Any who opposed were quickly eliminated.  As unrest began to slowly spread through the country, the Government came up with an idea, the Horny Games.

Each year, from the 27 different habitable areas in the country, five random women would be selected to participate.  The women were to race through a maze, if they succeeded, their particular area was allowed to have sex for one year.  The areas would rotate until all areas were covered, at which point a previous area was allowed for selection again.  The Government also decided to televise the events, looking to gain wealth and power through advertisements and publicity.

The first few Horny Games were rather mundane, with women tricking each other until one managed to get past the traps to win.  The majority of the traps only held the women in place with vibrators placed on their vaginas, but the public soon grew tired of the boring outcomes.  The Government then initiated traps with men in place, providing public displays of sex if the women were caught.  The sex deprived public loved the new idea and wanted more.  The Government then decided to create their own creatures, mixing and twisting human DNA with those of beasts and hitting it with radiation for good measure.  The 30th annual Horny Games unveiled the Minotaur, the mythical bull-headed man from ancient theology.  It was a fitting creature for the labyrinth of the Horny Games.  The Government had made quite the gamble with the creature and it paid off, the public loved it.

With each annual rendition of the Horny Games, more and more creatures were created, from the Satyr to the Centaur, mythical beasts were being created by the biotechnology arm of the Government.  With the creation of these beasts, the Horny Games gained a new twist, women were allowed to continue out of the maze even after being caught, however if their lust got the better of them, they would end up stuck, forever pleasuring the beasts within the maze.  With each new monster came a new area within the maze which created new traps and new puzzles.  The public was more than happy with the Horny Games and those who tried to oppose the creation of such monstrosities were quickly disposed of.

Karen let go of Linda as she saw flying shuttle arrive, it hovered above the street before slowly descending down.  Linda apologetically looked at her sister but Karen just smiled back.  She was more than ready to enter the maze and maybe even find out what had happened to their mother.  A group of soldiers wearing unrevealing, black tinted helmets hopped out, carrying laser rifles.  They formed two lines and a gentleman in a suit hopped out, making sure to fix his tie as he stepped out.  He smiled as he reached the two women and lent out a hand.

“Mr. Obscuricity, which one of you is Linda?”  He asked.

Linda meekly raised her hand.  The man shook her hand then looked at Karen.  “And you must be?”

“Her sister, Karen.  And you won’t need her.”  Karen responded as she pointed at her sister.  “She’s asked me to take her place.  That’s well within the rules, right?”  Karen asked.

The man’s smile didn’t disappear as he extended his hand out to Karen.  “By all means, I just need her to say it.”  He said as he shook Karen’s hand.

The two looked at Linda and she looked at the ground briefly.  “Yes, my sister replaced me.”  Linda finally uttered.

“Well then!  It’s done!  Karen, if you will, please follow me to the shuttle.”  Mr. Obscuricity said as he led her back.

The two entered the shuttle and the solders quickly hopped in.  By now, the citizens of the area had crowded around the shuttle in excitement.  Someone from their area had been chosen, meaning they had a chance for a whole year of unrestricted sex.  The crowd was hooting, whistling and hollering as they watched the shuttle lift off, heading out towards the Government Capitol.  Karen was left relatively ignored as the gentleman had walked to the front and was talking with the pilot.  The soldiers would occasionally talk but quickly quieted as the gentleman poked his head back.
