Die adlige polnische Familie Gielbutowski.

The noble Polish family Gielbutowski.

The noble Polish family Gielbutowski coat of arms Lis (Lisy, Lisowie, Bzura, Mzura, Murza, Strempacz, Orzi-Orzi, Vulpis).

Gielbutowski coat of arms of Li (Lisy, Lisowie, Bzura, Mzura, Murza, Strempacz, Orzi-Orzi, Vulpis). See Giebultowski.

Coat of Arms Description.

Lis (Lisy, Lisowie, Bzura, Mzura, Murza, Strempacz, Orzi-Orzi, Vulpis). In a red field a silver, unfeathered arrow pointing vertically upwards, the shaft of which is crossed twice; Helmet decoration: a fox turned to the left, growing up, with its tail pointing upwards. About the origin it is said: A knight who had a fox (Lis (Lisy, Lisowie, Bzura, Mzura, Murza, Strempacz, Orzi-Orzi, Vulpis).) in his coat of arms had at the time of King Kazimierz 1st in 1058 to command a larger department in the war against the Jazdzwinger and Lithuanians. This he divided into two parts, sent one to bypass the enemy camped near Sochaczew on the river Bzura, also called Mzura. The surrounding detachment should then make an attack as soon as it was shot up by a fuel-packed one Arrow would give the signal to do so. After he could safely assume that this detachment was ready, he had the signal given, the detachment attacked, as did he himself with the detachment that had stayed behind, and the enemy, who had been unexpectedly attacked from two sides and thus confused, was destroyed. For this, von Ritter received an arrow in the coat of arms, crossed twice to indicate an attack from two sides. But von Ritter retained Fuchs as a helmet decoration. This new coat of arms was named Bzura, also probably Mzura, after the river where the deed happened. After the original coat of arms, however, it also retained the names of Lis (Lisy, Lisowie, Bzura, Mzura, Murza, Strempacz, Orzi-Orzi, Vulpis). Von Ritter probably used the name Bzura himself and created a village of Bzura in the Kraków Voivodeship, which he later donated to the Jedrzejów Monastery. He left a son of continued descent. Local names of the coat of arms were also Orzi Orzi, probably after the river Orz in Mazovia and Strempacz. The following families have this coat of arms:

Biskupski, Boczka, Bolestraszycki, Borowski, Bucela, Buchczycki, Bukczycki, Bzura, Bzurski, Chometowski, Chominski, Chrzelowski, Cieszowski, Cyrus, Czamecki, Czarnocki, Czarnota, Czyz, Fulko, Gatardowicz, Giebultowski, Gielbutowski, Glinski, Goluchowski, Gottard, Grodowski, Grudowski, Grzegorzewski, Grzywa, Ilinski, Jaczynski, Jarnicki, Jerlicz, Jezewski, Jodko, Kanigowski, Karnicki, Kasicki, Kempinski, Kesztort, Kieysztor, Kniehenicki, Kolesinski, Komonski, Komorowski, Kormunski, Konstantynowicz, Korsak, Korzeniewski, Kosmowski, Kozieglowski, Kozlowski, Kroinski, Kulczycki, Kwilinski, Lipicki, Lis (Lisy, Lisowie, Bzura, Mzura, Murza, Strempacz, Orzi-Orzi, Vulpis).iecki, Lis (Lisy, Lisowie, Bzura, Mzura, Murza, Strempacz, Orzi -Orzi, Vulpis).owski, Lacki, Makarowicz, Maluszenski, Mevonksza, Metra, Michalowicz, Michniewicz, Mickiewicz, Mieszkowski, Mikolajewski, Mironski, Mnichowski, Naczowicz Narbut, Nieczycki, Niemierza, Niemsta, Ochab, Olszewski, Oltarzewski Ossendowski, Piaseczynski, Pieczonka, Pieczynga, Postrumienski, Proszczowicz, Radziminski, Rappold, Roszczyc, Roinicki, Rudnicki, Ruszczyc, Ruszel, Rymwid, Samsonowicz Sangaylo, Sapieha, Sikorski, Sipowicz, Slupski, Starzynski, Suwigajlo, Swiatopelk, Swierski, Szkudlski, Tausz, Tyminski , Wankowicz, Wankowski, Wasiencowicz, Werbski, Wereszczaka, Wichorowski, Wiezlinski, Wilkanowski, Wolan, Wolski, Woronowicz, Worowski, Wróblewski, Zabielo, Zadambrowski, Zajac, Zaleski, Zawadzki, Zdan.

Three ostrich feathers, the Makarowicz and Wasienco wicz: the arrow is crossed by three rods that taper towards the top, the Sapieha and Samsonowicz: next to the arrow that has moved a little to the left is a vertical one on the right, with the tip pointing upwards, with the Cut inward saber, the Kesztort. arrow crossed once is accompanied by a star on the right and left; Helmet ornaments: two hunting horns (elephant trunks), the Cyrus: as helmet ornaments, two stars placed on poles between two wings, the Kosmowski have only a left half bar on the shaft instead of the cross.

The noble Polish family Gielbutowski, coat of arms Prawdzic (Prawda, Lew z Muru).

Gielbutowski, coat of arms Prawdzic (Prawda, Lew z Muru).

Coat of Arms Description.

Prawdzic (Pravda, Lew z Muru). In a blue field a red crenellated wall, from which a golden lion, turned to the left, is half growing, holding a black ring in its front paws, its tail is visible; Helm adornment: an identical lion , but almost fully raised, with the ring, also turned to the left. This coat of arms, but without a ring, was carried on the Rhine by Count Andreas Dinheim, who at the time of King Boleslaw Krzywousty took part in campaigns with distinction and then stayed in Poland, where he stayed around 1123 with the only daughter of Jan Prawda, a provincial judge von Gostyn, who brought him the Szczawin and Trabki estates. The main coat of arms of his wife was an iron ring, which he now added to his coat of arms as an augmentation, placing this ring in the paws of the lion. After the name Prawda, this new coat of arms was called Prawdzic (Prawda, Lew z Muru). Sometimes, however, the field is also silver, the lion also probably turned to the right, and the lion's helmet decoration is probably replaced by three ostrich feathers. This coat of arms is used by:
