In the red field a double silverlily with a golden ring in the middle. The piece of jewelery contains five peacock feathers with a lily on them.

The earliest records in Poland:

The legend says thatWładysławHerman gave this coat of arms to the knight KrystynofGozdawafor his bravery on the battlefield; The lily symbolized impeccable chivalry, and the peacock feathers in the jewel - wisdom. However, this coat of arms suggests that some families must have come to Poland from Hungary in the 14th century, since there was an Anjouan family with a similar coat of arms at the time. Prof. PrzemyslawDąbkowskispeculates in his dissertations that they could have been Germans who came from Hungary. They probably came from northeast Bartfeld, where the German element was very strong at the time. This coat of arms was also used by Grandmaster Hermann vonSalzaofSaxony ( Nowosólc) .
