There were three variants of the coat of arms:
In the red field three silver swords with gold handles, which are connected to the blades at the bottom. There are three ostrich feathers in the piece of jewelry above the crown.
In the red field three silver swords with golden hilts, connected at the bottom with the blades, and underneath a golden crescent with the shoulder down. Peacock tail in the jewel.
In the red field there are three silver swords with golden hilts, which are connected to the blades at the bottom, and the middle one between two golden stars. Under the swords a golden crescent moon with its horns upwards and a golden star under the shoulder. There are three ostrich feathers in the jewel.
There are no known medieval seals with the image of this coat of arms. It was first mentioned in 1391. The coat of arms can be found in the Długosz Jewels and in the Ambrożego Herbology. The most widespread in the country of Krakow and Sandomierz. The owners of the coat of arms were not senators of the Republic of Poland.

Coat of arms of Kownia . The three bare swords, the tips of which converge at the bottom and the handles at the top, should be in the red field. Okay. Volume. 1. fol. 491. MS. Father Kojałow. practical that there should be three ostrich feathers on the helmet. The authors do not write on what occasion and to whom this coat of arms was awarded, but anyone can guess that for a knightly work [p. 340] was taken as a reward. However, not all of them use the same form of coat of arms: some people place the moon under the blades of their swords, others place two stars between the handles of their swords and the third under the moon. Długosz reminds of Stanisław de Paszochow of this coat of arms.
