You’re probably wondering how I got infected in the first place, well of course I got bit by one of the infected ones. First let me introduce myself my name is Tom and I’m 15 years old. The first outbreak started in New York City and the people who thought they weren't infected got to any mode of transportation they could to get out of New York City. Well by the time they got to the Mainland they were fully infected and the virus started spreading across the United States. The only state that managed to fend off the zombies (term for the infected ones) was Washington D.C.
They built a wall around the major cities (cities with the highest populations) in Washington D.C to keep the zombies contained in one continent. Then one day the president says to the military to wipe out all the zombies in the United States that are still alive. At that time I had already been turned into a zombie and that was bad news for me so I told my dad what the president had said and he said in zombie language (mostly grunts and groans) that we were going to move away from Washington D.C. My dad’s name is Bill he’s a zombie but he is a pretty cool zombie. At first the military was hesitant because they didn’t want to kill their own people.
But they had to do what the president said or they would be arrested by the military police and be thrown outside the wall and be left to the zombies. The military used the U.S Air Force for most of their attacks on the zombies because if they were on the ground fighting the zombies then the zombies would have a better chance of turning the humans into zombies. The first attack on the zombies started directly outside of the wall. Well it was harder than they thought. Because there were so many zombies it was hard to target even one zombie.
But by the time the military was finished with they’re attack me and my dad were already halfway across the United States. The reason my dad and me had survived for so long was because we weren’t stupid like other zombies. For instance some zombies when they see a human they don’t care if the human has a gun or not they will run at the human. Then on the other hand a smart zombie will run away from the human if they have a gun.
