Shannon Bream boasts an impressive resume, including experience as an author, legal professional, and news anchor for America's number one cable news network. Bream was born in Tallahassee, Florida, in 1970 and went on to study Business Management at Liberty University in Virginia at the age of 17. As a college student, she became interested in pageants and was crowned Miss Virginia before representing the state at the Miss America competition in 1991. She received a scholarship for her participation which helped her fund her education.
Bream returned to Florida in 1993 to pursue a JD law degree from Florida State University, which she achieved with honors. During this time, she chased pageant glory once again. She was subsequently crowned Miss Florida in 1995 and finished fourth in the Miss USA pageant that same year. After a stint as a corporate lawyer in Tampa, Bream's attention shifted to a career in news media. She began as a reporter for WBTV in North Carolina in 2001 before moving on to WRC-TV in Washington as a weekend anchor. Bream caught the attention of Brit Hume, the managing editor at Fox News at the time, and eventually became the anchor and host of Fox News @ Night in 2017. Bream has authored three books, with her second title, The Women of the Bible Speak: The Wisdom of 16 Women and Their Lessons for Today, achieving the number one spot on The New York Times Bestseller List.
