Astral Projection For Beginners - Master OBEs And Astral Travel Fast

Is astral projection real? That's the question on everyone's mind.

We're in an incredible phase of history where people are suddenly able to access any information they want on the internet, and they're getting curious about all sorts of things.

We're going to cover all sorts of things.

What Is Astral Projection?

To start with, let's explain this. Astral projection is the act of separating your physical body from your astral body.

There are numerous ways to accomplish this, but the act remains the same.

It's based on the idea and belief that there exists a spiritual, or astral world separate from the physical world.

This is a key belief and concept to understand. It's something that there's been almost NO research into, and the history and science behind it are very strange and interesting.

There have been CIA research studies into remote viewing and astral projection, but the results and findings have sort of been hidden. We will talk about this more in another chapter.

The reason for that is unknown, but what we do know is that millions of people around the world throughout history and living in the world today, claim to be able to astral project.

It's certainly not everyone, but a large portion of people claim they can do it and that it's real.

On top of that, there have been studies into this by the CIA, but the findings have been shuffled quietly away.

We wrote about their findings inthe chapter called CIA Documents, but our guess is that the real, detailed results and findings have been hidden away.

So it's hard to say whether it's real (what defines 'real'?) or not, for the reasons we're going to explain in a minute.

Has Astral Projection Been Proven?

This is where things get a bit tricky.

You see, astral projection is a somewhat 'strange' topic.

Most people in today's society consider it strange, and unusual.

For that reason, if you ask anyone about astral projection, they'll laugh or consider it obvious that it's not real.

But those people have never tried it, and therefore, they don't have any way of disproving astral projection. So who has proven it?

As we said earlier, there's simply not been enough serious interest in astral projection for big scientific boards and studies to want to prove or disprove it.

You'd think it would be the talk of the century, but for some reason, people just aren't as interested as you and me.

Astral projection has gained popularity because films like Doctor Strange and various other superhero movies allude to it.

They are making people Google ‘what is astral projection' and fall down the rabbit hole.

And that's just the problem; most people haven't really heard of astral projection, much less decided to study it.

There have still been occasional studies on astral projection, such as one published in Frontiers in Human Neuroscience.

In this study, a woman was studied under lab conditions and was reported to demonstrate a "strong deactivation of the visual cortex while activating the left side of several areas associated with kinesthetic imagery."

This means, in layman's terms, that it was proven she was conscious but unaware of the world around her regarding her visual cortex.

But she was "activating the left side of several areas associated with kinesthetic imagery," meaning she believed in (or actually experienced) physical movement.

How can this be if she was just laying there, motionless?

The Problem Of Method

A huge problem with trying to prove astral projection is real is that modern science has a set of strict conditions that must be met, making it difficult to prove astral projection under their rules.

There have, however, been numerous studies and tests carried out by Robert Monroe proving the existence of astral projection.

There's also no easy way to measure when a person's spirit leaves their body; to everyone else, it just looks like they're sleeping or dreaming it all.

Reports From All Around The World

This is the thing. There have been and still exist masses of mentions of astral projection in ancient religious and non-religious texts from various cultures all around the world.

This isn't new, but it's only recently that there's been a shift in society to not find it 'trendy' to believe in such things.

The Egyptians, for example, have a widely documented history of astral projection and depict the experience as a glowing light leaving the body behind.

That's coming from a society that managed to build such incredible buildings (Pyramids) that we still have no idea how they built them.

They know their stuff and wouldn't have mentioned something like astral projection unless they had a real reason to believe it's real.

Astral Projection vs. Lucid Dreaming

Astral projection is defined as being able to separate your physical body from your spiritual or astral body.

Lucid dreaming is entirely in the mind, meaning you're just dreaming because you're asleep.

The two experiences can feel VERY similar to each other, and that's where a lot of confusion happens.

You can't study something non-physical in a physical lab.

The whole point of astral projection and the whole definition of astral travel is being able to exit the physical realm entirely!

As a result, 3-D scientists cannot study astral projectors in the physical world if they are leaving the physical realm.

Because it’s a different reality, it is a different dimension, and this is one of the most fundamental things that scientists fail to understand.

They assume that just because they can touch and see something, that makes it real.

But it was only very recently that we were able to even see or know that radio waves existed!

Before then, we had no idea that these things were even real, and the same istrue for astral projection.

We're not yet at the point where we have the scientific measurement tools to actually measure astral projection and study it in a lab.

However, that doesn’t mean it’s not real. Far from it, in fact.

It just means we’re not ready to study in lab conditions, but it doesn’t mean that it’s not real and we can’t experience it.

And if you look into the research, you'll find that millions of people all around the world and throughout history have experienced astral projection themselves.

That's pretty impressive.

They’ve been able to come back to the physical world and tell stories about it.

The stories are documented through many different ancient civilizations all across time, and all across the world, separated by continents, oceans, forests, and time.

So to say astral projection is not real just because we don’t have a scientific study about it is wildly ignorant of the evidence and the subjective stories that people all around the world are sharing.

Beyond that, you can actually test it for yourself.

Now here's the difficult part; Astral projection is very difficult to learn, and if you’ve never done it before, it’s very hard and can take a long time to actually have your first experience.

It's hard to learn, especially if you doubt it.

So for that reason, people who doubt astral projection—people who don’t think it’s real—are going to find it very difficult to actually experience it for themselves.

Because they're holding themselves back.

That will only reinforce the idea that astral projection is not real even further.

This is where it gets tricky because you have to believe that it’s real and possible before you’re able to do it.

It’s entirely down to your beliefs, so if you’ve got people who are highly critical and doubtful, of course, they're never going to experience it.

And THOSE are the people who are going to shout the loudest in forums and in online discussions about whether astral projection is real.

They assume that just because they haven’t done it, it isn’t real. I’d like to bring us back to my experiences with something called lucid dreaming.

Before I had a lucid dream, I thought the idea was absolute nonsense.

It sounded too good to be true.

It sounded so different from what I knew to be real that I assumed it was fake.

Then I actually had a lucid dream, and everything changed. I realized that, of course, it was real; I just hadn’t experienced it yet.

And this is one of the key considerations for astral projection, as you might be looking into trying to astral project.

If you’re skeptical or doubt that it’s possible, you’re only going to hold yourself back!

And then you’re going to be one of those people who doesn’t think it’s real, just because you didn’t stick with it long enough to actually have the experience.

Read that last part again.

To Sum It Up

So it's hard to say whether it's real or not. If you define real as 'proven in a lab' then it's neither. It's just not been tested yet!

There have been tests and studies proving that something is going on and being experienced, but it's so highly subjective that every study showed something different.

This is probably because everyone astral projects in a different way to a different place or realm.

What matters more than anything else is your experience and what it means for you and your life.

If you feel empowered by astral projection, then that's great!

The interesting thing is that more and more studies are coming out to show that we don't know hardly ANYTHING about our minds, or at least, nowhere near as much as we thought we did.

The human body and mind are amazing things, and we should never underestimate them.

CIA Documents And Astral Projection

The Government Is Interested In Astral Travel.

It may or may not come as a surprise to you, but the U.S. Government dabbled in all kinds of parapsychological research, including astral projection, in the 1970s and 1980s.

Most people probably find it extremely strange that such a rigorous, traditional institution like the US Army invests so much time and money into psychic experiments.

But hey, it happened—we kid you not.

Their secret documents are now available for the public to read, and we analyzed the data to understand what exactly the CIA uncovered during their research.

We can all easily guess why this agency wanted to learn more about the use of astral projection.

It would give them the ability to spy and maybe even tamper with enemy technology without lifting a finger; who wouldn't want that kind of power?

What do the CIA documents mean for us non-governmental mortals, however?

Did the most powerful agency in the world's extensive (and pricey) research help us understand this mysterious phenomenon's workings?

Basically, the documents on astral projection, or “remote viewings”, as the CIA decided to call them, describe an extensive series of tests that were meant to prove:

whether or not these powers actually exist

whether or not they can be taught or trained.

The results of their findings are actually pretty shocking.

The subjects in the trials were tested in a few different ways. Some were given coordinates and asked to describe a specific location.

They gave information as to who they saw, what kind of building structures there were, and any other details about a place.

In one instance, a subject even drew out an entire island, along with its detailed topography.

In another test, the subject traveled farther than any tropical island or remote Soviet site.

At the time, the destination was the planet Mars (1 million B.C.).

You can read a fascinating seven-page interview about the experiment, in which we learn about the existence of what the subject describes as the shadows of very tall, thin people.

According to him, they are ancient, dying, and “philosophic about it.”

The subject also describes the structures of an obelisk and very tall pyramids, which he claims are shelters from the “corrupt” geological environment of the planet.

The ancient inhabitants apparently sent out a search group into space looking for a new place for them to live.

The subject emphasized that the Martians have no other choice but to wait.

Of course, modern science hasn't exactly proven the possibility of astral projection.

Maybe this just comes down to the scientific method being too narrow a tool to distinguish all facts from fiction.

The CIA definitely tried to stick as close to traditional experimentation procedures as possible.

This means that they occasionally threw out aspects of tests or even claimed that some of the results weren't reliable at all due to their lack of total clarity.

Does this mean that they should really be disregarded altogether? Not necessarily.

What we did learn from these tests is that the practice of astral projection is a legitimate enough phenomenon for even the CIA to get involved with.

That's kind of mind-blowing if you think about it.

Here are a few conclusions that the test results came up with:

1. Some people just seem to be more prone toward astral projection, and it's not something that can just be taught.

According to the report, “certain individuals possess more talent than others, and it is easier to find these individuals than to train others.”

2. While the remote viewings that were carried out provided some incredibly detailed information about faraway places, the CIA claims that it's hard to say that they're 100% accurate.

We should keep in mind, though, that they do emphasize that not ALL were totally accurate, which means that some of them must have been.

3. The papers admit that “anomalous cognition is possible and has been demonstrated” and that “this conclusion is not based on belief but rather on commonly accepted scientific criteria.”

Boom. Here we have scientific proof that anomalies in ordinary mind functions do exist.

4. They still don't really know how the heck this astral projection business (and other psycho-energetic behaviors) really works.

While the CIA did make several important observations, like the fact that “distance in time and space do not seem to be an impediment,” they do admit that “beyond those conclusions, we know very little.”

The paper's author adds that looking for further proof of the existence of such a phenomenon is pointless.

We just need to accept the fact that astral projection and other related phenomena really do exist.

He writes that what we should really be focusing on is figuring out how these processes work, and he is convinced that this is totally achievable with the right resources.

So what have we learned from the CIA papers?

Well, maybe, the main conclusion here is that astral projection is legitimate and real and that our minds are far more complex than we previously realized.

The Most Important Research On Astral Projection

Out-of-the-body experiences are not rare, they're just relatively uncommon, being that they're outside of ordinary human consciousness.

Commonly known as astral travel or conscious projection, this phenomenon is as old as humankind, maybe even significantly older.

Astral projections aren't something unnatural or abstract; they're quite reasonable in their existence.

However, humanity still hasn't reached higher levels of consciousness. In other words, people don't believe it's real.

When you think about the limitations of the brain, you realize that they are few and that almost everything is possible.

It's our physical form, our body, that has limits, which our spiritual self doesn’t suffer from.

Everything we can imagine can be manifested if we choose to, all we need to do is focus, and astral projection is proof of that.

Various studies report that one in ten people experience a conscious OBE.

Controlled OBEs can be achieved through enough practice until one attains the ability to willingly, though temporarily, leave the physical body.

Spontaneous OBEs are a different matter and can happen at any time since the individual has no control.

They do occur in more specific situations, usually when an individual is in an altered or highly stressful state.

This includes sleeping, during sickness, under medication, during an accident, or even while meditating.

Astral Projection Research In History

Since the beginning of time, there has been various historical documentation of astral travel.

In ancient Egypt, for example, there is 5000 to 3000-year-old proto-written evidence.

The Egyptians were aware of the existence of an astral form—Kha, they called it.

They even decorated the walls and constructions with drawings and engravings, representing it as an unpretentious light surrounding and leaving the physical body.

There are several references to astral travel within the Temple of Demeter and Persephone at Eleusis, Greece.

Several ancient Greek philosophers and historians like Plutarch, Herodotus, and Hermotimus mention astral travel in their writings.

The one Plutarch tells about Arisdeu is the most intriguing.

Arisdeu was a dishonest person with an awful reputation in his community.

However, he suffered a sudden twist of fate when he fell and hit his head.

The fall resulted in Arisdeu being in a coma that lasted a couple of days.

Arisdeu was able to communicate with his spiritual guide while he was in this coma and see himself outside of his body.

During the time in which his physical body was in a coma, Arisdeu became aware of another dimension inhibited by spirits and thoughts.

Arisdeu and his spiritual guide spent some time observing them, but they had no physical form.

At a certain point, he felt a forceful pressure pulling him back inside his physical body.

He woke up a few moments before his burial, inciting the disbelief of the masses gathered at his funeral.

Still, driven by what he has experienced, Arisdeu changed his ethics and values and corrected his behavior to reflect them better.

He transformed himself into a respected citizen, valued in his community.

Due to the Inquisition's suppression, specific schools and secret societies studied and engaged in the practice of projections of consciousness during the Middle Ages.

These occult and esoteric movements continued to withhold information from the larger population even after the end of the Inquisition.

The Tibetans’ Astral Travel Records

The Tibetans referred to the astral body as a "secondary body," which "houses the soul."

This body, or twofold, penetrates the physical one as shading does the bowl of water.

It’s made of very subtle matter, contrasting the rigidity of our physical body, which is electrical and attractive in its quintessence.

The delicate matter this body is comprised of is unusually flexible and undergoes only small changes during our lives.

It’s this flexibility that allows the astral body to expand to unimaginable levels.

Astral Projections are often confused with Lucid Dreaming since both are fundamentally the same.

However, with lucid dreaming, you are entering into an astral state from an effectively sleeping condition, unlike a legitimately waking state of awareness during astral travel.

The term “lucid dreaming” alludes to a state in which the dreamer becomes aware of the dreaming state.

Bringing his or her waking consciousness to the astral plane seems like the next logical step.

However, when dreaming, the individual doesn't think to awaken their awareness, it does so under the influence of (usually) external stimuli.

And while the dreamer might gain some control over the dream characteristics, this state is not to be confused with entering the astral plane.

If you aim to achieve an astral voyage while lying in bed, you should simply relax.

The best possible method is to attempt to put the body to rest while enabling the psyche to remain alert by simultaneously relaxing and focusing.

In Conclusion

Though superficially supported by the scientific community, astral projections, and their benefits were thoroughly documented during ancient times.

As our collective consciousness grows, science is slowly starting to unravel the mysteries and mechanics of astral projections.

As the scientific explanations continue to unravel, they only serve to attest to the existence of astral plane, astral projections, and their associated benefits.

15 Amazing & Practical BENEFITS of Astral Projection And OBEs

There are a plethora of other benefits that come with astral projections.

Let's have a look at them.

1. Loss Of The Fear Of Death

Many people have that underlying fear of death.

Yet, the fear of the body’s death isn’t important when you realize you’re in the astral realm.

This is a life-changing realization!

Once you access the astral realm, your psychosoma (or ‘astral body’) exists outside of your physical self.

This means that your energy and astral self can exist independently of your physical form, and free of any limitations that may be placed on your body through illness or injury.

The more you have out-of-body experiences, the more comfortable you will be.

One may even say that you understand more about the complexities of living through astral travel.

Sure, your consciousness is able to leave the body - allowing you to appreciate your life without necessarily experiencing the physical.

2. An Increased Respect For Life

You may think that discovering that death isn’t frightening would have a negative impact on your love of living.

Wouldn't you?

After all, why do you need your physical body if your astral body can reach the astral realm without it?

However, this discovery of a whole new experience will more likely AWAKEN an appreciation for the world that is around you.

By comparing the astral plane with the world on this plane, you’ll begin to appreciate all of the things that make the physical world special.

Life will become more of an adventure for you.

And it is an adventure!

3. Personal Development

Through this expanded vision of the different realms, you’ll see the physical world from a new perspective.

This openness will overflow into your physical life, where you will grow and be ready to face more of life’s adventures.

This change will not be limited to your perspective.

It changes your entire life.

How you make decisions.

How you address your conflicts, and so on.

4. Improved Sleep Quality

Meditation and breathing are important factors when training for the astral project.

By mastering the rhythm of your own body and learning to be truly relaxed, body and mind, you’ll become more in-tune with yourself.

This inner calmness will undoubtedly lead to a much more restful night’s sleep.

As mentioned earlier, for successful astral projection, you must really work on meditation, lucid dreaming, and self-hypnosis.

Before we even explore the sleep benefits that come with astral projection, these three practices alone deliver superior quality sleep benefits.

5. Body And Soul Healing

When you’re asleep, your body heals itself.

If you miss out on sleep for too long, you can even die, as your body isn’t able to recharge and restore itself.

Astral projection means your astral form leaves your physical body behind, putting your body in a similar state as when you’re asleep.

Because of this, having an OBE is a great way to allow your body to HEAL better.

However, because your energy is in such a raised state during astral projection, healing that would take hours in sleep takes only minutes during astral projection.

Additionally, as mentioned above, being on the astral plane allows you to foresee many things that are to happen on the physical plane.

After all, before you experience things in their physical state, they must first pass through the astral plane.
