"Please, stay with your group as you head out on the tour. These animals are very dangerous. The animals in this sanctuary were wild before they were brought here to be rehabilitated after an injury. They were not raised in captivity and aren’t use to being around humans. So it's very important that you don't put yourself in any danger while you're on the tour,” a voice said through a loudspeaker. “Just stay with your guide and you’ll all be perfectly safe.”

“Don't let yourself get eaten by a lion, Jenna," my little brother said as he poked me. He was just being annoying and trying to scare me. He was always doing things like that so how could I expect this day to be any different. 

He was the one that wanted to come on this stupid safari tour. He begged our parents until they gave in and they made me come too. I had no interest in seeing wild animals in their own habitat, but my parents insisted that we all come since it was our last vacation together before I moved out and went away to college. As we headed out in our little golf carts I looked around and noticed how realistic everything was. There were large patches of trees and bushes and ferns and I could see enormous rock walls off in the distance. It actually did seem like it would be kind of easy to get lost in here. 

Our golf cart was the last one in a line that followed the tour guide. We stopped every few minutes and he would tell us what animals were around us. As I looked around I realized that it really was a beautiful sanctuary and the farther we got into the park the more I started to enjoy myself.
