Cane Corso History: How Did the Breed Emerge?
The Mastiff refers to a group of giant dogs with various breed types, supposedly originating from Asia. Ancient Chinese references show of the existence of Mastiffs way back in 1121 B.C. The existence of Mastiffs in Egypt in 3000 B.C. was also established with the discovery of hieroglyphics of Mastiff-like dogs.
