This is an epub sound book for learning Pinyin. This Volume and the companion volumes I and III are sequels to our guides to learning how to pronounce every Roman letter and special combination of Roman letters that are used to produce all the basic sounds of Pinyin. We select from Chinese literature some of the popular sayings used in Chinese society. In this volume, the first Roman characters of the sayings range from H to S. For each Chinese character in the sayings, we provide the Pinyin, its standard pronunciation and meaning. A learner of the Chinese language can listen to the sound clip accompanying the character to learn its standard pronunciation, and use these sayings to learn pinyin and its standard pronunciation besides learning about Chinese language and culture.

Introduction
This book contains a collection of popular sayings used in Chinese society and Chinese literature. Each of the Chinese character in the sayings is accompanied by its Pinyin, pronunciation and meaning.
For practising Pinyin, a learner can take any of the sayings, and go through each character in the saying. For each character, he can listen to the sound clip accompanying the character to learn its standard pronunciation. To remember the pronunciation, the learner has to repeat listening to the sound clip a number of times, and practise what you have heard.
