Chapter 2: The Origins of Artificial Intelligence

The origins of artificial intelligence (AI) can be traced back to the mid-20th century, when scientists began to explore the idea of creating machines that could mimic human intelligence. At the time, the concept of AI was largely theoretical, and many believed that it would be decades, if not centuries, before machines would be capable of truly intelligent behavior.
