Introduction

I am not a demon chaser nor do I believe we are to be consumed by everything is demonic. This is far from the truth. I am writing this book because I have dealt with the demonic when it has crossed my path. I had to break through to get to the next level. It would be foolish for us to think we are not to face the demonic realm, if we are bringing God’s Kingdom to the Earth.

I am blessed that every time I faced something, God gave me revelation to breakthrough. I am passing those revelations on to you. You are to be a warrior of the Lord. Are you ready for that?

There are a lot of Christians going after the devil about every day. I only go after the enemy when Satan’s demonic realm opposes me from going forward. The Bible clearly states that we are not to go after the devil himself. We are to break his schemes or wiles of the devil.

There is no need to fear the enemy because Jesus is alive and greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.

Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

This book will take you through some of the biggest demonic spirits ever faced. I know as you begin to read this book the enemy may try to discourage you from continuing through to the end. Chapter OneThe Warrior Anointing

I want to begin this book by releasing a special anointing to get you ready to be the warrior you are called to be.

I am going to share crucial strategies for fighting triumphantly in spiritual war strategies that will make you completely alert, strengthened, and equipped to win any battle that rages around you. Not only will you discover how to defeat Satan’s schemes, but you will also learn how to be a skilled spiritual warrior: one who takes the spoils of war and plunders the enemy’s camp!

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Satan has ravaged the world for many centuries, and his appetite for power is growing steadily, as he seeks to deploy indirect methods to attack and destroy God’s people. Alarmingly, countless believers today are easy prey. Some do not understand the devil’s schemes, his weapons, or his tactics, nor do they know about the weapons, plans, and blueprints God has provided for their defense.

Nevertheless, the reality is that we’re in battle. We’re being prevailed against. Some of us are losing the fight against sin and sickness, disease and death. Some of us are losing the battle for their kids to know Jesus. Some of us are battling for marriages. Some of us are battling against poverty, and the very things that hinder the fulfillment of the prophetic word in our lives. War wages for the fulfillment of our very divine destinies.

The one we battle against is the very one that can keep a believer from achieving this goal.

As soon as we become blood bought believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, we’re thrust behind enemy lines, though assured of God’s protection.

1 John 5:9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

We must recognize and give ourselves to train and be ready for battle, and even more so, in these last days, for unconventional spiritual warfare.

Ephesians 6:10-18 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

We are at war. The closer we are to God, the more the enemy (Satan) wants to separate and weaken us. This war has raged for centuries.

The prophet Daniel saw the war we would face today:

Daniel 7:21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;

This war is with the anti-Christ spirit.

We’re reminded in Daniel 10 about the Prince of Persia opposing Michael the Archangel for twenty one days. As the enemy opposed him, so the anti-Christ spirits oppose our very destiny and inheritance in God.

Some believed there is no battle, and others do believe they wrestled “not against flesh and blood, but against demonic powers and principalities.”

Many are blind to spiritual warfare and to their adversary, the devil oblivious to the enemy’s assignment on their lives.

We must be aware that we are on the front lines, because there is a battle. Whether or not we believe in hell, there is one. Whether or not we believe in demons, the reality is that the enemy is real, as is spiritual warfare. We must wrestle against the demonic powers and principalities and take authority to bring them under our feet. Now is not the time for complacency. We must motivate ourselves to use the weapons at our disposal, and shed indifference or apathy. We must open our eyes to the seriousness of the threat of the enemy.

In truth, many automatically assume they’ve won, when in reality they are defeated.

Joel 3:9-11 Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong. Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD.

It is time to anoint the shield for the spiritual battle that is a reality every day, for every day is a combat zone. Our warfare is against real demonic powers and principalities, and a devil seeking to devour, kill, steal, and destroy.

God wants to awaken you for battle. It’s time to declare war, in Jesus’ name. Are you ready to join the ranks of God’s army?

There was a time God gave me a Word that said, “I’m taking you through a boot camp says the Lord, I’m training you to be a soldier says God.”

God looks for mighty warriors

Joel 2:7-9 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.

Will you enlist, run, and climb the wall? I believe God is releasing us into fervent prayer and intercession.

Are you victorious in some areas, but not in others? Do you shrink back or lunge between the weapons? There are reasons why we aren’t overcoming certain battle victories we should experience because of Jesus.

We’re to be mighty men and women who lunge between weapons. We are to engage in warfare and position ourselves on the front lines of the enemy’s camp, even though we know it’s going to cost us, and the battle will be fierce. There is a particular mindset in the Body of Christ today that reasons, “If I don’t touch, chase, or confront the devil or demon, I won’t have to worry. If I don’t mess with him, he won’t mess with us.” Saints are afraid to become involved in spiritual warfare or take on a demon or the devil.

We must take up the Sword of the Lord and fight the good fight of faith through the deployment of the weapons of our warfare that are readily available. We can’t lunge between weapons if we don’t pick them up. We can’t win the battles with weapons just lying there. When was the last time you used the weapon of the power of the blood of Jesus, or used the power of Jesus’ name, employed fasting, and prayer, or lifted your shield of faith? Do you truly believe in them in their power to overcome the enemy?

If you’re not using them because you don’t understand them, then it’s important to learn what they’re for, and how to use them. Seek a revelation of the power that is in the name of Jesus, the power of the Blood, the power of prayer and fasting, the power of the shield of faith, and then deploy them. Often we forget what is available, but making these weapons a part of our lifestyle ensures that won’t happen. Fast and pray, use the name of Jesus and lift high your shield of faith in every circumstance.

The shield of faith is our truth and our buckler. It’s the truth of the Word of God, and it’s given to every believer to quench the fiery darts of the wicked one.

Ephesians 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

The shield of faith has to be used. We are to be doers of God’s Word. When we act, the shield moves when we do, even if we don’t feel it. Is your shield moving or is it stationary? What if you don’t have any words to act on?

The enemy gets us in the back. Consume the Word feed on it regularly.

There are other pieces of armor that the Holy Ghost has given us that we forget to use, like the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, and the Sword of the Lord. Sure, we put them on every morning, but do we use them? We don’t have the Sword of the Spirit until we preach and proclaim what the Word of God says. We don’t have the shield of faith until we walk in that faith. It’s time to take up the armor of God. We are to be mighty warriors! Our job is to lunge between the weapons. We are to not only climb the wall and intercede, but we are to run along it and become fervent in our intercessory warfare. When we proclaim God’s Word instead of our feelings, circumstances, and symptoms, we are using the sword of the Spirit. Make this the year, the time, the moment that you take up the armor of God, use the sword of the Lord, and fight to win.

It is a critical hour for the body of Christ to rise and lay hold of its inheritances. Prepare for victory in your finances, in your health, in your ministry. Ask for a harvest of souls and salvation, healing and deliverance. Look to Him for victory in your churches and your city. Thank Him for causing you to triumph. Thank Him for releasing victory and war in your spirit, that you and your loved ones might be forever transformed through war, victory, and prophetic intercession. The battle is yours to win.

Chapter TwoBreaking Generational Curses

This Chapter is a powerful topic that will bring hope and encouragement to many in the body of Christ. I am going to give you several foundational principles concerning curses known as “the curse of the law”, where the curse began, the law of sin and death, how curses manifest, three characteristics to curses, and the need for Christians to battle curses over their lives. I also will outline how curses work in our lives and how to break them. So get ready for freedom.

Are you experiencing the full blessing of God? God’s promise is prosperity and healing.

3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

However, there are curses that can hinder your life and ministry and actually act as an invisible barrier that prevents you, from experiencing the full blessing of God. The curse of the law gives us valuable clues to determine the root of many curses and, consequently, their causes. Once we discover the causes we can break the curse and, best of all, we can appropriate the blessings of Abraham.

I will examine several key aspects involved in both identifying and breaking curses that will greatly benefit you.

I want to focus on several vital points concerning curses: the curse of the law; where the curse began; the law of sin and death; how curses manifest in our lives; three characteristics to curses; and the need for Christians to battle against curses.

Galatians 3:13, 14 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

We know that God cannot lie and that the Bible is true. What then is the hindrance to the manifestation of God’s promises of blessings in our lives?

We’re not experiencing the full manifestation of God’s blessings because we aren’t living above all things. Sure, we quote scriptures, saying, “We are more than conquerors,” or “We are the head and not the tail,” but many of us aren’t living in the reality of what we know. We still say, “Where’s the prosperity, the wealth? Where is the victory?” The answer very well could be a curse is hindering your blessings.

God wants the same blessings to come upon you as the blessings that He wanted to come upon the life of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Let’s examine the curse and how it keeps us from receiving God’s best. We first see the effect of the curse after the original sin in Genesis 3.

Let’s look at Romans,

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

You see, because we’ve all sinned, we’ve come under “the law of sin and death”

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

Sin is the door for the curse and its fruit: sickness, disease, death, and poverty which affect three major areas: our body, soul, and spirit.

God’s blessing to Abraham was to bless these same three areas. The curse affected the spirit first because our fellowship with God was broken. The soul, consisting of the mind, will, and emotions, has been affected by the disrupted relationship between God and man so that we come under many different curses.

We can look at them in Deuteronomy 28 and see that they include a trembling heart, anguish of soul, madness, and many other things. How about the body? Not only does the curse apply to women in childbirth, but it has released sickness and disease in our bodies today.

We are affected financially too, because of the curse that was placed on the ground. Some of us still suffer from poverty and lack as a result of the curse.

Geneses 3:17, 18 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

Note that when Jesus was on the cross and the crown of thorns pierced his head, God took that curse upon Himself. He did it so that we could be released from it and so we could prosper and not have a lack or poverty. But some of us are still not experiencing the manifestation of what God said.

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

It’s law that because of sin, sickness, disease, poverty, and death are at work in my life. It’s the law! And all hell is going to reinforce it. But there is a new law, the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, which has made me free from the law of sin and death. I don’t have to continue to live under the law that says I am deserving of death, disease, sickness, illness, and poverty. Now I can live under the law of life that declares that I am healed, that I overcome, that I prosper, and that I’ll be strong.

And all the angels of heaven will reinforce that law as we learn to live it by faith. It’s the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus that you are blessed and that you are healed and that you are victorious. It’s the law in heaven. God wants to uphold the law. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus says that you may be free from the law of sin and death.

There are two kinds of death caused by sin. To be resurrected or healed from spiritual death, we need to receive forgiveness of sin and the quickening power of the Holy Spirit that gives us salvation through the born again experience. The other death is natural death, which begins to take place slowly through sickness and disease. The remedy comes through the healing of disease.

Psalms 103:2, 3 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

The curse affects the manifestation of every type of prosperity: finances, spiritual blessings and gifts, healthy relationships, and healing. Often, to receive these blessings, a curse has to be broken first.

A curse is evidence in your life by continued defeat or an unseen resistance that seems to hinder your decisions and circumstances, with no obvious or apparent reason.

Curses have characteristics knowing them will help you discern a curse, and help you release breakthrough.

A curse can be audible, written, or wished upon yourself or others.

In anger, or self-pity, have you ever made a vow like, declaration? Be careful what you say! You’re speaking something over your life that will give the enemy a field day. You’ll get what you even flippantly wished for, and trust me, you won’t want it. Even joking, don’t speak negative words over yourself, it’s like giving the enemy a skeleton key that opens a door of your heart and exposes you to his manipulation and control. You’ll keep hitting an invisible ceiling in your life, work, finances, health and ministry. You won’t be able to accomplish great and mighty things for God. Also, don’t speak, wish, or write curses over others. Even seemingly harmless words can destroy another’s faith.

Curses continue over time, from generation to generation. The following patterns are often obvious in family trees: poverty, illness, disease, deformity, addictions, depression, fear, miscarriages, etc.

Exodus 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

Curses usually attack the entire family, not just the individual. A spirit of poverty, for instance, affects the entire family. If the head of the household suffers depression or oppression as a result of a generational curse, then, more than likely, other members will suffer from such attacks too. Fears can also take hold of families, as can addictions, and lack of trust.

People ask me if there is a need to receive deliverance from generational curses after we receive salvation. Do we need deliverance even though we’re redeemed from the curse of the law? If we are redeemed, then why do we need to break generational curses now that we’re saved? Here’s my answer: All curses were broken from our lives two thousand years ago it’s biblical. But let me ask you this: Are you perfect in character?

Do you experience victory in every area of your life? Are you not working out your salvation with fear and trembling? Remember, salvation is an ongoing process.

Hebrews 2:10, 11 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

Some Christians believe that curses don’t have power over our lives after salvation? Let’s make a comparison to divine healing. Do you believe in divine healing, that Jesus made provision for health through His suffering and death? Yet, isn’t it often necessary to press through until we see the manifestation of what we know we already are to have? There’s a need to contend for the full promise of God in our lives, to pull our inheritance from the spiritual realm into the natural realm.

The Bible is our roadmap to every spiritual blessing. Even after salvation, we’re to lay hold of our healing by faith, and that applies to our deliverance from curses as well. The devil wants to resist God’s blessing in your life.

Romans 6:1-12 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

So clearly you can become a slave to sin again if you let sin reign in your mortal body and obey its lusts. If you give way to sin again, you’ve left the covering of the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus; you are under the law of sin and death again. This passage is not speaking of occasional sins and everyday weakness, but of sin that reigns or rules our lives:

Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

There is a place for continued confession, even after we are born again.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Ephesians 4:27 Neither give place to the devil.

Ephesians 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

People often believe lies and make room for demonic “strongholds” to be formed in their lives.

Curses can be passed down through the generational line.

Deuteronomy 28:59 Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.

Deuteronomy 28:45 Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:

Exodus 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

God visits the iniquity of the father down to the third or fourth generations. You might be affected three or four generations after an ancestor's sin because God has allowed the consequences of their iniquity to fall on you.

It’s because God is a God of justice. For every decision there is a consequence. In the spirit realm, there are laws of sowing and reaping. Because God is a just God, He must uphold what He said until there is repentance in a generation.

In God’s mercy, He has established that once sin is confessed and turned from, the generational curse of sin is broken.

Curses are real and we have to cut them off our family trees at the root. For example, children can inherit the ungodly bondages of alcoholism and pornography, among others, even if their fathers are saved and have renounced and repented of their sin. These generational curses have to be broken from individuals or else their sons and daughters will inherit the same problems, even if their parents have repented of old sins and lifestyles.

Now I will attempt to give you a number of examples of possible causes or open doors that allow curses in. This list is by no means complete, and perhaps none of my examples apply to you; however, as you examine them, let the Lord speak to your heart and reveal to you any open doors that may have affected you, a loved one, or your ministry.

Witchcraft curses

Religion and dead works

Rebellion and dishonor of Parents

Causing another to stumble

Sexual sins

Dishonesty

False Religions

Tired of curses? How about the good stuff? Remember, the Lord doesn’t want our lives cursed; He has numerous blessings for us divine health, fruitfulness, prosperity, favor, and victory.

The blessings in Deuteronomy 28 are encompassed by the blessings of Abraham mentioned in Genesis.

Galatians 3:13, 14 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Genesis 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
