Foreword

Dogs come in all shapes and sizes, but none are more adorable than the cuddly little Morkie dog. This designer dog breed is the result of a crossing between a purebred Yorkshire Terrier and a purebred Maltese. Each Morkie is unique, but these dogs generally exhibit the best qualities from each of the parent breeds. If you are looking for a small-breed dog that has a beautiful coat, a lively temperament, and a friendly personality, then the Morkie may just be the right breed for you.

As an experienced dog owner myself, I have to say that Morkies are one of my favorite breeds. Not only do I own one myself, but I have seen the joy that Morkie puppies and adult Morkies have brought to my friends. Whether you are looking for a companion pet to sit on the couch with you at home or a furry friend to carry with you as you run your errands, Morkies are a great option.

The Morkie breed is a great option for new and experienced dog owners alike. These dogs are very playful and good-natured, plus they love to spend time with people. As is the case for any pet, however, Morkies do require a certain degree of care in order to keep them happy and healthy.
