INTRODUCTION
There is this popular saying that muscle wears when put into use. Another one says nothing last forever. The two expressions put together reveal that there is always wear and tear for things that exist on earth, man – not an exception!
Of a truth, life is movement. Newton, the most famous Scientist in the field of Mechanics - a branch of Physics, upon whose principles all automobile, aircraft and every gadget that has to do with motion works, postulated three theories known as the “Laws of Motion”. The first law states that: “Every object continues in its state of rest or uniform motion in a straight line unless impress force acts on it.” The second law states that: “the rate of change of the momentum of that body is proportion to the force applied and takes place in the direction of the force”. And the third law states that: “Action and reaction are equal and opposite.
In the beginning of creation, God created man in his own image, and his health could best be described as very good (Gen 1:27, 31). For man to perpetually live in absolute health, God created all that was necessary to support life in the Garden of Eden before he put him inside it. Not only that, God was sure of Satan’s disastrous visit and the catastrophic possibilities, so He forewarned Adam and gave him rules and regulations to comply with in the garden. God understood that job drains man, and will consequentially degenerate him to poor health and eventual death, so He offered Adam and eve work not job in the Garden of Eden. What work, to dress the garden and keep it. God knew that doing that will never rob them of their health, but will rather keep them fit to live forever, since work gives fulfillment, fruitfulness and wellness. Unfortunately, Satan came and succeeded in tricking man into disobedience, and man exposed himself to pains and physical death.
Every man on planet earth experiences pains in his life time. These pains arise from the agony of meeting his needs and wants in life. The great philosopher, Abraham Maslow categorized human needs as physiological – food, shelter and clothing, social, safety, self – actualization and self – esteem needs. The sum total of meeting these needs usually have boomerang effect that leaves every man with various categories of weaknesses. One of these weaknesses is what is commonly referred to as sickness, illness or diseases.
As no two men are the same, so are their problems. New problem emerges the moment one seems to have been solved either partially or permanently, while many occur simultaneously.
Surprisingly, I discovered that man’s worry over sickness and other life problems usually outweighs the real impact of such shortcomings. Not only that, several times in man’s attempt to solve a prevailing problem, unknown to him he ends up worsening it due to ignorance.
To every problem, God has pre – designed and perfected a way to escape (1 Cor 10:13). Many who allow hurts in their life to multiply into more hurts, would have been healed of those oppression long ago if only they did realized that their true prosperity can be activated by using their hurts as stepping stone to their breakthroughs.
Running from pillar to post to solve problems which God sees as infinitesimal is a bodily exercise which the Bible says profitteth little (1Ti 4:8). The problem you have in life came from an external manipulator called Satan. You don’t go externally to fight battle which comes to you from outside. When a notorious man approaches the gate of a man for a fight, the owner of the house goes inside first to collect the appropriate weapon he needs to fight the assailant and defeat him. So, what you need use against Satan is the power you have within. “Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world” (1Jn4:4).
And what do you have inside? It is the real you – your Spirit. Your spirit is the candle of light. It is God residing in your heart. God is the only one that can help you surmount those problems and sickness. He wills and works in you to heal you of all your afflictions. Scripture says, you are god. That further tells you that you have all it takes to activate your miracle through your Spirit.
The Spirit of the Lord took me on a journey to hospitals, and I saw crowd of people with their relations whom the devil have1 denied the comfort of enjoying their homes with their loved ones. I saw children and adults, the disabled and the abled, in various forms of affliction, who had little or no means of funding their outrageous treatment bills or getting out of the affliction which devil injected into their blood stream.
I understood that these sufferers have long awaited miracles that will take them out of their helpless situation, but these miracles seem to have been delayed and denied. Worst still, they’ve been subjected to mockery and hatred by passers by, distant and close relatives, such that all they look forward to is how their miracle can come to them and their mockers as Surprise healing.
I was moved with compassion, wept and groaned in the spirit. This compassion moved me to put pen on paper, to teach anyone languishing in such state of health or other helpless situation, how he can look inwardly and activate his miracle right where he is, from his inner – self .
