Sam went round his girlfriend’s house but she wasn’t in. Her brother Alden answered the door. He told Sam she wouldn’t be back for an hour or so and invited him in to wait.
“No, it’s ok,” said Sam. “I’ll come back later.”
“Don’t be daft,” said Alden and he dragged Sam in.
So there was just Sam and Alden in the house. They were sitting on the sofa having a chat over a can of lager, getting to know each other a bit.
