“Sasha” is dedicated to my daughter Mackenzie and my son Connor. They both heard many versions of “Sasha” at bedtime as they were growing up. It is my hope that Mackenzie, Connor and others who read “Sasha” will share the message that being different doesn’t prevent you from loving and being loved.

Please read and share "Sasha" with a child you love. When you are finished sharing the written words, take time to create an additional chapter expanding on "Sasha's" unique way of treating and loving all people and animals.  There are many unwritten chapters in "Sasha's" life.  Perhaps the idea of creating a "Sasha" chapter will cause you to create and share your own written story with the ones you love.  The written word can create memories which will last longer than the days any individual has on this Earth.
