Satan’s Open Doors

This will be the average sermon for Sunday morning. That was a joke. It should be. God gave me this title. It was kind of a shaking that came upon me when I heard it. Satan's Open Doors. We all should know there's an open door a lot of the time we give way to. We open something in our life and sometimes we don't even realize that we do it. All it takes is an access, an access to something in the supernatural to break in. I'm not talking about the supernatural heavenly things. I'm talking about the supernatural realm of satan. When you talk about supernatural, it's the unseen realm. That's not just good, it's also evil.

There is a door to our souls. A door and the enemy can gain access through that door. It doesn't matter if it's just a crack. All you have to do is have a crack in your door and he will get in. This door stands partially open between light and darkness. Under the divine law of God, our enemy is restricted to the realm of darkness. He has no access to light. The Bible's not going to change the law. Jesus overcame and that power is still within our midst. We need to know that we can still open the door? I know there's a few of you that are perfect, and you're going to go to Heaven soon because you're so holy. You don't have anything ever wrong with you. You never sin, and I know that, but for the rest of us, there's an open door that happens sometimes and it happens because of one thing we do. I'm going to talk about the specific of one thing that's connected with a whole lot of other things. I know you are going to get excited, so calm down so you can stay focused.

We are delivered from these powers of darkness but if the door is open, Satan and his cohorts are granted legal entrance. Their objective is to control the areas that open the door. Because all they have to have is access and then access causes them to have legal rights. When the enemy has legal rights, it's because we have given it to them. Have you ever felt like the enemy was just picking on you? Come on, I've been there. One day God said "You're the one that opened the door." Have you ever gotten the word from the Lord and you ask for a different one? Hallelujah. The enemy's access always results in death, destruction, and a loss of freedom. It can even mean your life. Jesus called these doors in Matthew 16:18 gates. His exact words were "The gates of hell." The gates of hell?

Any Christian should know that sometimes the enemies had access to a lot of the Body of Christ and the Body of Christ has just shrugged it off as the normal way. Do you know there's a lot of people that don't believe in the demonic realm, don't believe in fighting a good fight of faith, and they go to church? Do you know what a prophet told me one time? He says "If the enemy is not stirring up things against you, if he’s not coming after you, then you are going the wrong way." Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. I can definitely say, right now, I'm going the right way. I had a smooth season back in the day but not anymore. In revelations 1:18 it talks about the keys. He also said he had won the keys that locked the gates. Jesus has won the keys. But see, the church has gotten to a problem. We say "Okay, Jesus overcame the law. We ask Jesus into our heart, the door is shut. But the thing is, if you pick back up the things that you're not supposed to pick back up, you open the door. The gates, by law, have to open. Because, sin opens the door back up.

Oh, come on. How can we shut this gate to our lives, let alone lock it? Especially if we are unaware of its existence. Are you one of the Body of Christ are unaware of the doors that Satan has access to? Come on. The Body of Christ is unaware. I've been in pastor's meetings where they say "We're pastors, we don't sin." Come on. I've been at pastor's conferences that say "We have all repented so we are forgiven for everything we will do. Come on, talk about, you might as well just took the door off the hinges. Forget opening. A wise soldier would consider for a moment how the adversary thinks. If you're a soldier. We are supposed to be soldiers. If you're a soldier and you're going through a battle, you have to stop and you think how's the enemy going to go about what he is doing. What's the enemy doing? He's looking for my weakness. What's he doing? He's going around and he's trying to stir things up against me.
