Chapter 1
Harpi was a little bird, she loved the big blue sky.
She loved her long wings, her favourite hobby was to fly.
One day, she flew across the Amazon but her home she could not find!
The trees were all chopped down, there was nothing left behind!!
Where will I sleep tonight and where will I call home?
She didn’t know what to do, she felt so sad and alone.
She sat on a little log floating down the river and saw another
Harpi, making her gasp and shiver!
“I’m your reflection, I’m your inner voice, I will help you to
make a better choice!”
“Fly up high little bird, you’ll no longer be lost and alone.
For soon you’ll find a safe and warm place to call home.
Just look for someone special, with a heart of glimmering gold.”
Harpi could no longer bear the wind and the frosty freezing cold.
“But how will I know who that is?” she asked, “Where do I even start?
How will I know if someone has a glimmering golden heart?”
The voice said, “Someone who looks a little lost, someone a bit like you,
someone who looks a little sad, and also a little blue.”
