The extraordinary story of Ms. J It was a nice summer’s day. The sun was shimmering through the leaves and the entire park seemed to glow in a warm and genial light.

Ms. J was walking slowly, enjoying the warmth of the breeze on her rosy cheeks. Not a soul could be seen at this matutinal hour and Ms. J was alone, wandering through the park. She paced along the alleys lost in her thoughts when suddenly she heard a loud noise behind her. She turned back to see what had happened and saw a big furry animal, rubbing his back against a tree. Instantly, she stiffened. It was a huge brown bear. Ms. J stopped breathing for a short time. She was not sure, whether the bear has seen her or not. She began to walk backwards. She tried to be fast but quiet and hoped that the bear would not pay attention to her. She looked around the park hoping to find someone who might help, but she was all alone so early in the morning.

After a few steps she stopped. The animal continued to ignore her, being too busy scratching his back. He seemed annoyed about something and Ms. J was now curious to find out why. Carefully, she went closer and saw that the bear had a small parcel fastened to his back. "That's strange", she thought. "How in the world did that parcel get there?” In the meantime the bear succeeded in releasing himself from the parcel and went away throwing only a passing glance at the terrified Ms. J.
