Bill Vincent paints a very vivid image of a rising tremendous army, empowered and equipped by the power of the Holy Spirit, in this magnificent book, which was birthed out of the undeniable revival fire that is blazing right now in all parts of his ministry, according to Bill Vincent. Also explored in depth in this book is the mystery surrounding these exploding levels of the Holy Spirit's action in our lives.
As you walk in trust and submit to God's call in your life, you will experience unprecedented favor. My experience indicates that the gift of God within you will create space for your vision, and your vision will create space for the gift of God within you.
Each visionary leader endowed by God with the capacity to hear from God in order to comprehend and properly carry out vision. God endows His leaders with wisdom and judgment, enabling them to determine how, when, and what decisions to make. Because the Lord appointed me sovereignly to the work, He also bestowed upon me the wisdom to know what to do and when to accomplish it.
The only way vision may be fully realized is for God's designated leader to completely devote his or her life to Christ's sovereign rulership. Preparation and pruning of my heart were critical components of being prepared for the dependence of what God had in store for me. Pioneering construction in uncharted area should be undertaken with the grace and wisdom that come from complete reliance on God and trust in His capacity to keep His promises in and to us.

Christians all throughout the world lack the knowledge and skills necessary to defend themselves. A Christian who is unwilling to suffer is like a soldier who shows up to battle unprepared.
Believers go through the same physical and mental maturation processes as everyone else. Beginning as infants in the faith (1 Peter 2:2), we are called to grow up in Christ (1 Peter 4:18), eventually reaching adulthood (Matthew 7:21). (Ephesians 4:14; Hebrews 5:14).
The process of physical development advances during the course of a lifetime. A two-year-old with a height of 6'0" will never be found! Physical maturity is a process that takes time and can't be rushed. Your physical and mental development is governed by a predefined growth rate that changes with the passage of time.
The ability to learn and become more intelligent is not a result of aging. It is impossible to comprehend tenth-grade reading if you haven't mastered the first-grade level of reading by the time you're 30. Some 12-year-olds have completed their high school education, on the other hand.
A person's spiritual development is not a consequence of time or education. There are persons who have been saved for a long time who are still infants or children in the spirit, despite having been rescued for a long time. In fact, this includes persons who are well-versed in Scripture and who have memorized large chunks of it for future reference. The fact that they know the Word of God does not imply that they are adept at applying it.
The Pharisees would have been the most mature in Jesus' day if spiritual growth was a consequence of studying scripture. In spite of their knowledge of the first five books of the Bible, these people failed to recognize the Son of God as he cast out demons and raised the dead.
Exactly how can one grow spiritually? In the Bible, it is stated that those who suffer as Christ did have attained the spiritual heights. Is it a result of the pain we've endured? I've come across a lot of people who've been through a lot in their Christian walk, but they're still bitter and depressed. Not one of them is spiritually developed. Suffering does not, by itself, result in spiritual development. Through our faithfulness to God in the face of adversity, we grow in maturity. What does it mean to be afflicted like Christ was afflicted?
Jesus' suffering was directly linked to his devotion to God's will. Because the world's system runs counter to God's kingdom, when we follow Him, we go against the flow. Persecution, anguish, and tribulation are all born as a direct result of this inciting incident. In the midst of this battle, spiritual growth can be achieved by obedience. Reread Peter's words to yourself.
A believer's growth comes from enduring hardships in the likeness of Christ. When we refuse to surrender to God's will because of the will of man, we experience this type of anguish.
Self-inflicted misery and neglect aren't holy suffering. It's not a terminal illness or a lack of money to cover your expenses. These don't bring God any praise. This thinking has actually led many people to seek out ways to torture themselves with pain in order to feel more worthy. They firmly think that God appreciates their self-sacrifice in the service of Him. Because of this, their relationship becomes based on merit rather than grace.
Christ's suffering should serve as a model for us. It wasn't that Jesus was sick or couldn't afford to pay his bills that caused him to suffer.
As far as I know, Jesus didn't feel any physical or emotional pain during His time on this earth. When it comes to temptation, he was "tempted as we are, but he did not transgress" (Hebrews 4:15).
When we want to go one way and people who influence our decisions want us to, but God wants us to go another, we'll encounter opposition.
In the vicinity of Caesarea Philippi, Jesus and His companions had arrived. He inquired about their conceptions of Him. Defiantly, Peter affirmed Jesus to be the Messiah, the Son of God, in response to the question. In Jesus' affirmation of Peter's insight,
After that, Jesus told them He was going to Jerusalem, where He would suffer greatly, be crucified, and then be raised from the dead once again. This bothered Peter, so he approached Jesus and chastised him.
It was God's plan for Jesus to suffer, die, and rise from the dead. Peter and the other disciples, on the other hand, felt that Jesus' kingdom was just a matter of time away (Acts 1:6). To follow Jesus, they had all gone through a lot of pain. Why would he choose to die now, when the kingdom's future was so bright?
Peter was befuddled by all of this. He said, "I am going to die." What does that mean? So, what are the chances of that? His death accomplishes nothing.
Instead than focusing on the Father's desire, his anxieties were more about preserving himself. He had succumbed to the same self-centeredness that had crept into mankind with Adam and Eve's fall. The will of man is in conflict with the will of God. If you have died to your wants or not, you will ultimately find yourself in a situation where you must choose between your comfort, advantage, security, self-esteem, or pleasure, and the will of God. Jesus used Peter's blunder to teach the disciples this important reality.
Humility appears to be one of the most difficult post-ministry success goals to achieve. A self-righteous individual assigns blame to everyone but blames himself.
When things are going well, a person is most vulnerable to falling. It's easy for him to lose sight of the grace that got him where he is. Therefore, "be dressed with humility, for God resists the haughty but offers grace to the humble" since this is true (1 Peter 5:5).
At the tender age of sixteen, Uzziah, a direct descendant of King David, became king. At first, he devoted himself to God's service. As a sixteen-year-old, you'd want to run a country. Probably he was awed and humbled by the scope of the project. However, "God prospered him as long as he sought him" (2 Chronicles 26:5). He was richly benefited as a result of his complete reliance on God. With the help of his army, he defeated the Philistines, Arabians, Meunites and Ammonites in many cities. The country's economy and military strength grew as a result of his leadership. Under his reign, there was an abundance of wealth.
All of his accomplishments can be attributed to God's favor in his life. In time, his humility was replaced with his own self-assurance.
His heart was raised up to his demise when, at his height, he transgressed against the LORD his God and entered the temple to burn incense on its altar of incense (see 2 Chronicles 26:16).
Uzziah's pride was not stoked while he was weak, but rather when he was strong. As he looked out over his lands and saw how prosperous and successful they were, his heart ceased to search for God. Now that he knew how, he could handle it on his own. Throughout his life, he expected that God would continue to bless him as he had been blessed when he humbly approached Him.
He didn't rise to the top of the heap in a day or two. The reality is that it might happen to anyone at any time. John, most of those who have fallen from grace have done so during times of plenty, not scarcity, said God to me.
Many Christians fall into this trap. When a person is saved for the first time, they are eager to learn more about God's ways. Because they seek Him and rely on Him for everything, their humility is clear. In their hearts, they say, "Lord, I want to know You!" as they enter the church. They submit to God's authority, both directly and by delegation. When people have gained wisdom and strength through experience, though, their outlooks change.
In other words, instead of reading their Bible with the prayer, "Lord, reveal Yourself and Your ways to me," they use it to back up their pre-existing beliefs, not believing what they read but reading what they believe. They no longer hear God's heavenly voice through the pastor's voice. As a substitute, they sit back with their arms folded and a "I'll see what he knows" demeanor. Despite their knowledge of Scripture, they lack compassion and self-abnegation. The ability to serve God is dwindling now.
First Corinthians 8:1 tells us that we all have knowledge. Pride is inflated by knowledge; love, however, is elevating. Love is selfless; it sacrifices everything for the sake of the Master and the people he or she has called to serve. Self-centeredness hides beneath the veil of religious piety. God stated that pride is the outcome of knowledge attained without love.
Was King Uzziah more or less religious as a result of his rise to power as a result of his lust for power? He came up with a surprising response: he went to church more! So, with a renewed sense of purpose and devotion, he entered the temple to partake in what he believed to be worship. You can't have one without the other. Because of his apparent piety, a religious spirit gives the impression that he is humble. He is, in fact, quite proud of himself. To the prideful, a religious spirit is something to be ashamed of, so he refuses to accept that he has one! This is one of the reasons why church pride is so well-hidden. A religious, charismatic, Pentecostal or evangelical guise is often used to cover its true nature.
In the sanctuary where Uzziah was burning incense, Azariah and the other eighty temple priests approached him, saying "It is not for you to burn incense to the LORD... You've trespassed on sacred ground, so leave now! You will not be praised by God (2 Chronicles 26:18). Look at the reaction of Uzziah to the priests.
Chapter 26:19 from the Book of 2 Chronicles At that point, enraged, Uzziah grabbed an incense burner and a censer and set out to burn incense: and as the leprosy came up in his forehead, he stood before the priests, enraged, beside the incense altar, in the house of God.
Anger filled Uzziah's face. A person's self-worth is always justified. Angry self-defense will accompany this. A self-righteous individual takes the blame for others while blaming himself. Uzziah's anger was focused at the priests, but the real trouble was in his own heart. He was blinded by his own arrogance! He allowed his rage to fuel his pride instead of humbling himself. He had leprosy on his forehead, which was clearly visible to everyone. A physical expression of an internal illness, leprosy was the situation in this case.
In the New Testament, leprosy is a sort of sin. It is a sad, but accurate, observation that many prominent members of the church have sinned. Sexual immorality is an example of this. It's not the sin itself that's the problem; it's pride that's the problem, God told me.
Pride is a dangerous and elusive enemy, but it's so easy to hide from. Those who are arrogant are unaware of their genuine state. It can only be shown via humility. When Lucifer rebelled against God, we saw the influence of pride right from the beginning. His cardiac condition was described by God.
For more information, see Ezekiel 28:14-17. Anointed, I've placed you there: You were on the holy mountain of God; you roamed around in a sea of fire. You're my cherub, and I've named you. Until sin was discovered in thee, thou wast perfect in thy conduct. Since they've overrun you with goods, you've sinned: thus I will hurl you out of God's mountain as a profane one; and I'll burn you, O covering cherub, from its midst in the flames. Because of your beauty, thy intelligence has been corrupted: I will cast thee to the ground and lay thee in front of kings, so they may see thee.
Everything he had was a gift from God, including who he was and what he had. However, at some time he forgot this and craved for something greater. His heart swelled with pride as he sought to carry out his plans. He made a series of declarations, all of which began with "I will" (Isaiah 14:12–15), because of his hubris. He lacked any sense of self-awareness. He was exiled from the presence of God.
