1 The Honorable Merchant

It is reported that in the ancient Arab city of (Aqfan), near (Persia), a large merchant named (Abd al-qader) used to work and profit from his trade in various fabrics and textiles. He had one son at the age of twenty-five in the prime of his youth, his name (Raed) who obeys his father in everything. He helped him in his trade, and he used to travel to (India), selling them various fabrics at the head of his father's caravan and bringing from them the famous Indian perfumes and spices on the basis of the barter system, because not all ancient commercial transactions were based on banknotes or coins. Rather, there was an exchange of one commodity for another, and this young man named (Raed) used to travel a lot to help his father in his foreign trade, and he also traveled to (the Levant) to exchange textiles for the various fruits that are grown there.

One day, a man named (Tammam) went to the shop of Mr. (Abd al-qader), the father of (Raed) and asked him to sell him all the silk fabrics in the store in exchange for a number of precious stones, provided that he would not give any of the merchants, but Mr. (Abd al-qader) refused this offer for two reasons, the first reason: because he was committed to a word with a number of the city's merchants, the second reason: that this man whose name was (Tammam) had a bad reputation because he was cheating in his trade, changing his own scales, and practicing a policy of monopoly when crises hit the city, and (Abd al-qadir) feared that (Tammam) would monopolize silk fabrics for himself and sell them to notables of the city.

(Tammam) was angry because he had promised a number of princes to bring them a group of silk textiles that are unparalleled in the city of (Aqfan) or the neighboring cities, and decided to take revenge on (Abd al-qader) in the most precious thing he had, his young son (Raed), so he went to one of the magicians and the resident far away at the outskirts of the city asked him to prepare magic against the son of the master (Abd al-qader), the beautiful young man (Raed) in return for paying him more than he asked for, he started tossing him one sack of money after another.

It seems that these packages have manipulated the magician's mind and he decided to do to Mr. (Tammam) what he asked. Evil was a common factor in the two, and the magician prepared black magic for Mr. (Tammam) on the skulls and skeletons of animals on which magic talismans and incantations were written, and asked him to throw these Magical works in the shop of Mr. (Abd al-qader) in the place where his son (Raed) is located. And he handed him a bottle of a red liquid similar to wine and asked him to make one of the prostitutes to drink him this red liquid three times after having sex with him each time. Indeed, Mr. (Tammam) asked one of the naughty children to throw parts of these skulls and skeletons inscribed with talismans and magic spells in the shop of Mr. (Abd al-qader), where his son (Raed) is standing. After that, the conditions of the young man (Raed) changed completely, and he became lazy, not as usual before, constantly quarreling with his father. He lags behind his father’s traveling commercial convoys. Here, Mr. (Tammam) took the opportunity to agree with one of the prostitutes, whose name is (Shaza), who tried to woo (Raed) and get closer to him in light of his constant disagreements with his father and the workers of his big shop. And she took him to her house twice, during which she had sex with him, gave him a drink of red liquid, and told him that it was one of the types of alcohol that is unparalleled in the whole city, and the third time she asked him to take her to his house in the shadow of his father and his workers being busy in his shop and she had sex with him for the third time and when he drank from the liquid Red for the third time the curse appeared immediately. He turned into a cheetah-spotted leopard and looked at himself in the mirror, not believing the shape he had become and the new image he had become. He ran out of his house like a madman, even across the outskirts of the city, and ran until his feet led him into the enchanted forest, where all those cursed lived and all those who have been harmed and controlled by black magic live a very strange life, they behave and act like animals because of the magic on them, and very strange events happen to them that truly call for astonishment and admiration. As for (Shaza), the prostitute woman, she ran away quickly after completing her mission for fear that someone would discover her act. Or the merchant (Abd al-qader) pursues her in order to avenge what happened to his son.

2 The unjust king and his sycophant minister

Near the city of (Aqfan), there was a vast kingdom called the Kingdom of (Wahdan), and it was ruled by an unjust king who was very cruel to those who disobeyed him or violated his orders, who imposed many taxes on the farmers of the lands of his kingdom and made his tax collectors get them from the people without any pity or mercy. This king was called (Jaafar) and he was tall, huge in body, the length of one of his arms was as long as a ten-year-old boy and this king had a minister called (Mamoun) who flattered the king and brought him false news about his kingdom and the conditions of the servants so that he could secure his place. And no one else jumps on it. This minister used to organize vigils for the king and invite poets to recite poems of praise to the king and all those present with him. He pays them huge sums of money. After the poets finish reciting their poems, the maidservants and dancers rush to the parade grounds to perform lewd dances accompanied by singing and drinking intoxicating wine. The strange thing is that these poets were flattering King (Jaafar) and deceiving the Minister (Mamoun), as they were composing satire poems in them and reciting them in the presence of the kings of the neighboring kingdoms, and that huge money that they receive did not prevent them from slandering the king and his minister and describing them for their original qualities and describing them as they really are as their news and biography were known in all the neighboring kingdoms. If you deceive the owner of the matter and your adorable talk pleases him, how can you deceive someone who knows him well and receives all his news?!

One day, a widow named (Zubaydah) came to that dance floor and insisted on meeting the king and asked him to do justice to her from his tax collectors, because her land this year did not produce enough crops and therefore could not pay the taxes imposed on her, and all she owned were 3 sheep, the tax collectors seized two of her and beat her son with whips when he tried to prevent them from doing so. They injured him in many parts of his body. The attendees laughed at her, and one of the dancers swayed on her and told her that her sheep had prepared for a feast at the king's dinner. How could she take them back after that because what belonged to the king, it is not fit after returning it to one of his flock!

And the king decided to expel her from their session because she spoiled their vigil, so she started telling him: He is an unjust king and his entourage is corrupt and unjust like him, so his guards took her out immediately and threw her outside the palace after they beat her, and she returned to her home and kept calling in the city markets about what this unjust king had done meanwhile, a man with a black cloak and a black shawl stopped her and asked her to tell him in detail everything that had happened and when she told him what had happened to her, he replied that he would take revenge for her and for all those whom the king had wronged and restore her right. She replied to him: You are a man who has no power for you, and this king has a very large entourage of hypocrites like him, so how can one individual take over a large group of thieves and fraudsters, and he said to her: There are unconventional ways that may work with unfair people like them, and he left her and gone, but she did not understand his words at first.

This man hid himself in the image of a poet and asked to enter the presence of the king because he had prepared a poem for him that would make hearts fly. The Minister (Mamoun) liked this speech because he was the biggest sycophant in the presence of his king, and he was allowed to enter the palace courtyard to recite his desired poem. The beginning of the poem was an insult to all those present at the vigil and they did not understand his words at first. Then he began to slander the Minister (Mamoun) and no one noticed that and when he began to slander King (Jaafar), there was among those present the head of the King's Office for Correspondence, who had not completely covered his head with alcohol, so he immediately shouted that this man had come to mock us and slander all of us. The king ordered his guards to arrest him immediately, then this man threw a magical light in the middle of the square and began to mutter fast and incomprehensible magic words in a few seconds, and the curse struck all the audience, so King (Jaafar) turned into a huge lion with an ugly view, and the minister (Mamoun) turned into an old lion with a black beard hanging down his mouth as for the rest of those present, they turned into lions, weak or emaciated, reeling here and there, sick or tired, unable even to carry themselves, and transforming the dancers into graceful and fast-moving lionesses. It seems that the curse has struck those present all as their position in the kingdom of King (Jafar), the kingdom (Wahdan) to find themselves in the middle of the enchanted forest and they formed another kingdom, but for lions and lionesses predators in the middle of the forest, and they made a place for themselves among the rest of the cursed animals and birds, but by the law of the jungle, the strongest survive. As for the man in the black cloak, he left without anyone knowing who he was or where he came from, except for the old widow, who guessed that he was behind it all, but she kept quiet about the matter, because this man had fulfilled his promise to her and took revenge for her and her son on who had wronged them, he and his corrupt entourage who help him to oppress people and flatter him constantly, so he does not feel among them anything but that he is the king, the venerable and great, whom there is no one like him in the neighboring kingdoms feared by all people and they work for him with cautious and wise.

3 The Hyenas Have What's Left

In the enchanted forest there was a group of hyenas appearing near the entourage of King (Jafar) the arrogant lion from time to time to take their share of what fell from the rest of the prey of lions and lionesses, and the two groups were constantly fighting with each other, the entourage of King (Jafar) on the one hand, and the group of hyenas on the other hand, where the active and light-moving lionesses were hunting their prey, so King (Jafar) came forward to take his share of the feast first, then the minister (Mamoun) and when it was time for the rest of the weak lions from the entourage to eat their meal, it would be a group Hyenas are waiting until they finish their meal and the hyenas come forward to take their share from among the leftovers or what is left of their prey. Here, a baboon appears jumping through the dense branches of the forest trees here and there and alerting the entourage of King (Jafar) to the arrival of the group of hyenas, so fierce battles take place between them on the basis of who can catch part of it takes it and runs away, but the baboon (Mansour) did not like these or those, so he kept throwing coconuts at them until they flounder in each other more and more and increase their wounds, each group against the other, and calls out to say: who is this lazy lion that I see today? The blind hyena has been able to kick it in his ass, then he says to the group of hyenas: It seems that these emaciated lions do not respect scum like you, they will dance today over your lowly corpses, so the heat of the battle between the two groups will intensify. Each group cannot stand the arrogance of the other group and considers that it is the most deserving of the privilege and position among the animals in the middle of the forest. The hyenas see themselves as the smartest and call the lions' squad the handicapped team, and the lions see themselves as the strongest, and called the hyenas' squad the junk team, but what is the story of the monkey (Mansour)? and the rest of the hyenas team?

These hyenas were a group of slavers who sold slaves and female slaves to kings and princes and moved between different kingdoms. This monkey was originally a black slave to them that they could not sell or get rid of because whenever someone came to bought him, he would mock and ridicule him and lengthen his tongue on him, so the buyer would withdraw his purchase immediately and they used to call him among themselves: the blunt-tongued, foolish slave, as for these slavers, they were the highest in fraud and deception. They bought the slave or the female slave at a low price, and because of their sweet tongue and their adorable words, they sold him or sold her to the king or the prince at much exaggerated price. As for their story with King (Jafar) was as follows:

One day, the chief slaver, whose name was (Marzouk Al-Rashed), came with a female slave and asked the minister (Mamoun) to meet the King (Jafar), because he had brought him a beautiful white-skinned maid with colored eyes and yellow hair to present her to the King (Jafar), who was first deceived in her appearance and asked him In return for this slave girl 10 thousand dinars, the king tried to reach the price of 5 thousand dinars, but (Marzouk Al-Rashed) the slaver refused and insisted on the first amount and the king paid him what he asked for her beauty, and (Marzouk) left with his men, and the days passed, and the king and the palace maids discovered that the voice of this slave girl was discord that disturbed all the maidservants when she sang in the women’s bathroom and even insisted on singing every time. Don't listen to the orders of the housekeeper of the king's palace, and don't fit a stick or discipline with her, it was a failed deal, definitely not profitable. The king was fed up with her and the maidservants of his palace, and the king threatened (Marzouk Al-Rashed) the slaver because he cheated him in this slave-girl and got 10 thousand dinars from his money. As for the story of the curse that befell (Marzouk Al-Rashed) the slaver and his men, it was as follows: On a long and hard day in the slave market, it remains with (Marzouk Al-Rashed) the slaver and his men, a maid of short stature and good-looking, and with her the slave (Mansour) sharp-tongued that he tried to getting rid of him and selling this slave girl for a good amount of money so that he can return to his home and he achieved the profit that he monitored for his purpose. And one of the men entered the market and looked at the servant (Mansour) that took out his tongue and kept doing acrobatic movements in front of him like a madman, so he left him immediately and then looked at the maid of short stature and kept feeling in her breasts and the rest of her body, then this maid cast a magic spell while she was holding a rare gemstone shiny in her hands, so the curse hits (Marzouk) the slaver and his men and turned into a group of dirty hyenas as if their bodies had been immersed for years in a swamp of mud, and the slave (Mansour) had turned into a baboon, while the buyer had turned into a mad wild dog, and they all entered the enchanted forest range, as if this spell had traveled with them through time, but what is the story of this girl or maid?

She is a little princess from Persia, whose mother has memorized this amulet and instructed her to keep this precious stone and to repeat it if she falls into captivity or into a dilemma from which she cannot escape, if she and her father are far from her or are not present, or they are not saved, and indeed what she foretold has happened, the Queen Mother. A number of barbaric tribes raided Persia, killed those who were killed and captured those who were captured. This little princess was captured and sold in the slave market until she carried out what her mother had recommended to her and was now free. She does not know where to go, but she is accompanied by a precious stone and a magical spell that protects her from risks.

4 Mercenaries

There was a group of wolves in the woods that no one trust them, hated by all the animals, not only the pets they attack, but the predatory beasts like them, perhaps because of their bad history and the condition they are in now. These wolves were a group of mercenary soldiers who fought for money with the utmost brutality and cruelty, and they were moving between the tribes in the Arabian Peninsula and the head of their group called (Talha bin Omair) and nicknamed (Talha Al-Qassam) and they were famous for criminality among these tribes used by kings and princes to hunt their opponents.

On one occasion, there was a dispute over a spring of water between the tribe (Shechem) and its prince (Al-Aziz) on the one hand, and the tribe (Sandil) and its prince (Al-Mustarsel) on the other and a fierce war ensued between them in which Prince (Al-Mustarsel) managed to defeat the tribe of Prince (Al-Aziz) and seized the spring of water and captured a number of men and women from the (Shechem) tribe, among whom was the pretty (Maha Bint Wahb) cousin of the prince (Al-Aziz) and the Prince (Al-Mustarsel) asked a large ransom from the Prince (Al-Aziz) so that he may return his captives to him and not to harm his cousin badly, the amount of it was 100,000 dinars in addition to writing a treaty between the two tribes stipulating that the (Shechem) tribe completely waived the (Sandil) tribe to benefit from the water spring.

Prince (Al-Aziz) felt humiliated and decided to calm the Prince (Al-Mustarsel) for a little while, but he was thinking of something. He sent a request for (Talha Al-Qassam) and offered him 150 thousand dinars for him and his group in exchange for tearing the body of the Prince (Al-Mustarsel) and bringing him the prince’s liver and returning him his cousin without anyone touching her badly. Indeed, (Talha) and his men infiltrated at night to the palace of Prince (Al-Mustarsel) and stabbed him while he was sleeping and tore his body and extracted his liver and separated his head from his body and took it back to Prince (Al-Aziz) to secure their reward and freed his beautiful cousin (Maha Bint Wahb) and killed everyone who objected their path, and the Prince (Al-Aziz) rejoiced at this treacherous victory and felt that he was able to raise his head again among the Arab tribes.

On one occasion, there was a dispute between two princes over the succession of their father to the throne of the kingdom, Prince (Qaisoun) and Prince (Zaydun) over the succession of their father, the King (Al-Mustasim bin Al-Khabeer), so Princess (Hanadi bint Al-Asha) the wife of Prince (Qaisoun) sent to request (Talha Al-Qassam) the head of the mercenaries offered him 200 thousand dinars in exchange for the head of Prince (Zaydoun) but without anyone knowing what happened between them, (Talha bin Omair), the chief mercenary, monitored Prince (Zaidoun) on one of the fishing trips that he takes from time to time, and he and his men killed him. Princess (Hanadi bint Al-Asha’s) plan succeeded in preserving on The Caliphate Chair for her husband, Prince (Qaisoun), and getting rid of his rival, Prince (Zaydon), his brother. As for the story of the curse that befell them, it was as follows:

In a war that lasted for years between King (Al-Nasir bin Al-Hakim) and King (Talal bin Al-Majid), King (Talal) had a group of skilled knights who guarantee him superiority every time the two armies meet, King (Al-Nasir bin Al-Hakim) would like to get rid of these Knights, nicknamed the Knights of the Royal Palace So he sent a request to (Talha bin Omair), the chief of the mercenary soldiers, asking him to join him and his men alongside his army in the face of the army of King (Talal bin Al-Majid) and help him get rid of these knights who hinder his army from winning every time. The advisors of King (Al-Nasir) were not trust in these soldiers and advised him to make a written treaty between him and them sealed with a magic seal stipulating that King (Al-Nasir) handed over to (Talha Al-Qassam) and his soldiers 10,000 heads of camels, 5,000 heads of sheep and 5,000 heads of goats, if they guarantee him victory over the army of King (Talal), and he emerges victorious in the war, on the condition that the curse befalls those who betray the covenant recorded in that document. Indeed, (Talha) signed this document without reading its entire contents completely, and when the order to summon King (Al-Nasir) to the mercenary soldiers headed by (Talha Al-Qassam) reached King (Talal), he tried to win over (Talha) and his men by paying them 300 thousand dinars if They first represented their joining the army of the King (Al-Nasir), and then when the battle intensified between the two teams, they turned against him and his army and supported the other camp. Indeed, the war began after sunset between the two teams, and when it was midnight, (Talha Al-Qassam) and his men turned against the army of King (Al-Nasir) and began to tear the bodies of his soldiers, and their body parts were scattered here and there under the full moonlight as a result of the betrayal of the covenant, the curse struck (Talha Al-Qassam) and his men, and they turned into a group of brutal wolves that gnawed at the bodies of the soldiers. The soldiers panicked and began to flee in front of them and dispersed everywhere. Cursed wolves followed them until the soldiers disappeared from their sight, and then those cursed wolves enter the enchanted forest to join the rest of the animals that were cursed, no one trust in them because of their treachery, their black history and the story of the curse that befell them, they live by eating the bodies of animals that are weaker than them, and the curse increases upon them when the full moon is complete, and then they begin to howl like crazy, to remind them of the story of their curse that made them outcasts by all the forest animals, as they were shunned by the families and relatives of the victims who liquidated them in the past.

5 Sight is dark and insight also

As for the story of the cursed crows and bats, it was the most fun among the forest animals. The chief of the group of crows was a man with a huge body, heavy in weight, with a rumen hanging in front of his swollen belly. The captain called (Taha Ibn Al-Awar) led a group of pirates at sea to seize the treasures of the traveling ships as well as the contents of commercial flights in transit. They had gone to an island called (Al-Khaylan) in search of the treasure of the king (Tafshan Ibn Noaman) after they found the treasure map with the sailors of one of the traveling ships and they killed everyone on it after they knew the story of the treasure and the legend that says that a boy should be presented without blemish (any bodily injury or birth defects) as a sacrifice to the cemetery keeper until the gods allow him to open the door of the vestibule for those who turn the stone disc leading to the basement that leads to the treasure. Indeed, they traveled for long months, crossed many cities, and finally reached the island of (Al-Khaylan) and marveled at the splendor of its scenery and the strange plants it contained. They followed the treasure map until they reached the destination. And they found the stone disc inscribed with strange inscriptions and incomprehensible talismans, but there was a surprise waiting for them!

They were preceded by a group of bandits with another map that leads to the treasure. These bad men were a group of outlaws led by (Khaled Ibn Al-Asar) blocking the roads on the traveling commercial convoys and stealing what was in them. They were a gang that included all those who were sentenced to prison in absentia in large cities adjacent to the island and they managed to escape before they were arrested, or those who were already imprisoned and who managed to escape from their cells through trenches they dug underground, or bribed the guards with large sums of money through their families to facilitate their escape, or the promises they made to these guards to share their loot that they seized before with them and hid them somewhere. The guards of those prisons responded to them and weakened under the influence of great temptations. Their leader (Khaled Ibn Al-Asar) was famous in all the cities surrounding the island. Stories and legends were told about him that a traveling convoy could not escape from his hands unless it included an army of men to protect it and that he had a falcon that could guide him to the location and contents of the transiting convoys. Therefore, the leaders of those convoys would take with them a sufficient number of men to secure their trips, and battles would often break out between them and (Khaled's) gang, which ended either with the defeat of the convoy’s men and theft and looting of everything in it, or the defeat of (Khaled's) gang and the convoy passing peacefully with deaths on both sides. It doesn't matter who fell at the end, because the caravans were compensated the number of men who fell from them in the following times, as well as the criminals who were joined by another number each period and that was the way they always got used to and lived in, a struggle in the desert under the moonlight at night for trade and livelihood on the one hand, or robbery and looting in order to live on the other hand, which is the same as what happened between the two gangs when they met, where the men of (Khaled Ibn Al-Asar) fought men of captain (Taha Ibn Al-Awar) as soon as they set foot in the place of the lost treasure and after a period of fighting and the fall of wounded and dead from the two divisions. One of (Taha's) men called (Ali Ibn Al-Sallab) shouted in the two divisions in order to stop the fighting and find out the matter. Indeed, all the men responded to him and the captain (Taha's) men knew that (Khaled's) gang had another map of the treasure with another legend saying that a young virgin girl should be presented as a sacrifice to the cemetery keeper until the gods allowed him to open the way to the treasure, but there were things absent from the two gangs, which will cause their curse after that, each group had only half of the manuscript of the treasure map, and the manuscript stated: The boy without blemish and the young virgin girl, their blood should to be mixed together, that is, they marry and give birth to a new offspring. Thus, the king (Tafshan Ibn Noaman) ensured that only two groups of good people would get the purpose of his message and would give the pure boy and the innocent girl their share of his treasure. As for the one who does not understand his intention and implements otherwise, he will be cursed immediately, but it seems that every name indicates its owner, the captain (Taha Ibn Al-Awar) brought a boy who seemed to be in perfect health, but he was born with a congenital defect, which is that he has one testicle in the scrotum, but the captain (Taha), the head of the pirate group, did not notice that. Likewise, (Khaled Ibn Al-Asar), the chief of the bad gang, brought with him a girl who claimed to be a virgin when they asked her because she was afraid of her father’s punishment, her appearance was pure and clear, and they were all deceived by her appearance, but she had previously had sex with a young man she loved in a deserted area on the outskirts of the town, but he had fled and left her and the city and has not returned since then. (Taha) and (Khaled) lost their insight, along with the rest of the pirates and bandits, as their eyesight was lost before that, and they decided to implement what was stated in the two manuscripts and slaughter the girl and boy together, mix their blood and present them as a sacrifice to the cemetery guard. When they were about to turn the stone disk leading to the basement that contained the treasure, they were cursed and the pirates turned into a group of crows, with them (Taha), the captain of their ship, and he was called in the forest (Taha) the great black crow, and he and his group were wrapped around the corpses and the more they began to eat it, their bodies darkened more and more, until it became like pitch-black darkness that no one could distinguish in the blackness of the night. Likewise, (Khaled) and his group turned from bandits to a group of bats with a gloomy face and disgusting appearance and the color of blood increases more and more the curse, in retaliation for the little boy and the little girl, who had killed them for the greed of treasure and easy-to-find wealth, but their insight as well as their eyes were dark, which led them to the miserable state they are in now.

6 Instinct, Survival and Friendship

The leopard (Raed), the son of the good man (Abd al-qadir) surrendered to fate and joined the family of leopards in the forest and lived like them, providing their food by catching single prey and chasing them at their speed and keeping the rest of the prey to eat later when they finish their meal and reach a feeling of fullness. He began to mate with female cheetahs to satisfy his instincts, for the nature of animals is different from the human nature, as animals do not think, but are moved by their instincts. Animals are searching for food and drink, sex and escape from their natural enemies. They do not work or build civilizations like humans, and also do not think or invent or find anything new from the resources available to them. It was normal at first as (Raed) and his family of leopards provides their food to survive and be able to still alive and mate to satisfy their instincts, but there was a problem that will become clear later that the curse of the leopard (Raed) was because of sex and by the prostitute who deceived him, and in the event that he could not control himself, things would become very complicated for him, which is what actually happened. He started intercourse with female cheetahs more than usual, until he had intercourse with more than one female per day, and his meal and daily ration of prey became not enough for him, looking for more quantity and greater instinct to saturate him.

One day, one of the lionesses was drinking from the river in the middle of the forest, and she was originally a maidservant of King (Jaafar), and was close to her, the leopard (Raed) was walking, amazed from what has hit him and this lioness found that this leopard had a small body and light weight, and she thought it was an easy prey at first, and attacked him in order to hunt him down for the food of her group, but she found from him strong resistance, agility and unparalleled movement and a lightning speed that surpasses any of the lions of the forest so he mounted her back and grabbed her neck with his mouth and began to have intercourse with her involuntarily. This lioness did not know what would happen at first, and so he did not explain the link between the survival instinct and the sex instinct, but he continued as he was and she continued to resist him. She tries to throw him away by moving left and right, but he was able to her, and she began to succumb little by little until she lay on the ground completely and began to feel an ecstasy that she did not get with any of the lions of the forest before, not even with the old lion (Jaafar) nor his flattering minister (Mamoun). And she began to talk to him asking him about the secret of what was happening with them, so he told her the story of the curse that befell him and the red liquid that he had drunk, and she believed everything he said to her, and the conflict between them turned into a friendship that lasted for a while. She used to come every now and then to satisfy each of their instincts, but the matter was not so easy, another lioness saw them and wondered what was happening between them, so they had to tell her the truth, and the matter leaked the king's dancers one by one until (Raed) had sex with many of them every day. Likewise, he learned from them the story of what happened to the king and everyone in the palace, but the wisdom says that if the secret comes out between two, then it is over. Likewise, a story like this must leak out, including this leopard and this large number of lionesses.

The monkey (Mansour) was closely following the matter above the trees of the forest and issued laughter when the female lionesses lay on the ground for the leopard (Raed) to have intercourse with her, and he cracked jokes on the two lions (Jaafar) and (Mamoun) and called out to (Marzouk Al-Rashed) the slaver and he says to him: He has a job for him here and he asks him to organize these red nights with pieces of red meat and to throw the bones and the rest of the carcass on his lowly hyenas, provided that they witness this orgy, which attracted the attention of (Taha Ibn Al-Awar) the great crow and his group of crows as well as the group of bats led by (Khaled Ibn Al-Asar), whenever the process of intercourse (Raed) with the lionesses began, they would fly in a ring in the sky, expecting a fierce battle at any time about the place of intercourse and waiting for the fall of countless corpses and seas of blood to satiate their instincts as well, that has already happened. King (Jaafar) came roaring from afar, along with his minister (Mamoun) and the rest of the emaciated lions to take revenge on (Raed) and kill him after what reached them about what had happened far from their eyes. Indeed, the weak lions attacked him first, and he began to evade them thanks to his agility, and the lionesses help him to do so for two reasons:

They did not like those dead lions, but were affected by the story of the leopard (Raed) and sympathized with him as well. They needed him to satisfy their burning instincts through this strange magical curse. (Raed) did not find it difficult to escape from those raging lions, but the biggest problem was in the pursuit of (Jaafar) and (Mamoun) to him. It was about their pride and their position among the animals of the forest, and they swore that they would kill him and rip his body. Indeed, (Jaafar) continued chasing him for a very long distance until that fast-moving young man (Raed) exhausted him from the intensity of running and tired him from that distance in which he continued to track him to find in front of him a very large elephant that cut across his way in the woods and prevents him from chasing him further. And this elephant was named (Saafan) who knew the story of the two and did not like King (Jaafar) and he wanted to rid (Raed) from his grip. (Jaafar) surrendered and did not continue anymore because he did not want to clash with the huge elephant (Saafan), but (Mamoun) was not full tired like (Jaafar) so he kept running more and more it seems that he was looking for some favor with those lionesses in case if he was able to eliminate (Raed), but providence was with him for the second time,A very tall winged eagle named (Adnan) appeared in the sky, who was able to guide (Raed) to shortcuts unknown or used in the forest by everyone, so (Raed) escaped from the eyes of the hateful lion (Mamoun) and arrived at a new place he had not reached before. We'll get to know about it more later, while (Mamoun) got lost through these new ways, thanks to the help of this eagle for (Raed) the young man. The group of crows and bats scattered in the sky, fearing that the eagle (Adnan) would attack them and surprise them to catch them.

7 Gazelle of Mercy

The leopard (Raed), thanks to the help of the eagle (Adnan), arrived at a place of great beauty, where the unique waterfalls reflect the golden sun rays to make the white light dissolve into its seven beautiful colors and the vast green areas that eyes cannot reach the end of, where colorful butterflies fly, drawing a painting unparalleled in splendor and beauty, there was a small deer standing alone, grazing in the middle of those green meadows, and when he (Raed) saw her, he did not control his instinct and he attacked her, but when he looked into her eyes, the matter changed completely. He noticed a small tear falling from her left eye, seeking mercy from this beast that attacked her, asking for pity before leaving her life, here (Raed) froze in his place, as if something stronger than the instinct of those animals had prevented him and stood between him and that gazelle, so he asked her, what is your name? She replied while fear still possessed her: My name is (Amira) from the tribe (Dahshan al-Akhras). He asked her again: What brought you here? She replied to him: It is a long story to explain, and he said to her: Tell me everything, I am all ears. She said to him: I used to live in my father’s house, which was comfortable and luxurious, and my father loved me very much and answered me everything I asked and took care of me and everything I needed, but the matter completely changed after the death of my mother. My father married a hard-hearted woman, who represented in front of him that she had a tender heart and delicate feelings, but in fact, she is like a snake in its deception and a wolf in its treachery. She married my father for his money only, as he is one of the notables of the tribe and its few wealthy people. She treated me kindly at first until she took control of my father’s palace and everything in it, and then the disputes began between us, she wanted to get rid of me in various ways. And when she failed, she brought in a fortune-teller who worked magic against me, so I turned into the shape of this little deer, and I heard from them that nothing can break this magic except the hundred-year-old Indian jasmine flower, where good conquers and defeats evil as long as this flower's age. He replied to her: Perhaps this is a message to me today. Your tears have overcome desire and instinct inside me, so I could not even approach you. She said to him: And what is your story? So he told her his story from the beginning, and the prostitute woman who deceived him as well, his story in the forest and his joining first to the family of leopards, then his friendship with the lionesses from the slave-women and the dancers of King (Jaafar) and his struggle with him and his minister (Mamoun) and how he escaped from their grip thanks to the help of the elephant (Safan) and the eagle (Adnan). She said to him: Look, goodness is present in every time and place, but it needs sincere hearts to awaken it. Just as they awakened the elephant and the eagle previously, here is your heart awakening you today with me for the second time. He replied: I liked your words, and I was touched by your story and I want to help you until the magic against you ends and you return to your father's house to live your peaceful and stable life, she said to him: How can you help me when you are in such a situation? I think you need to help yourself first and restrain yourself against this evil work that is going on inside you, look at this squirrel (Numeer) and how it feeds from the ground among the grain and fallen fruits,he eats it little by little, after he breaks it with his teeth into small pieces so that he can chew and swallow it with this small jaw and a narrow pharynx because gluttony breeds gluttony and violence begets violence, I think you can start here first, then the squirrel (Numeer) spoke to (Raed) saying: Listen to her, my friend, for such innocence should be good, its place in the world of the good and the saints, and not among the animals of this desolate forest, so (Raed) listened to her and began to eat the remains of meat that fell on the ground and the crumbs of small bones, and the days passed and the voracious (leopard) turned into a pet like pet dogs that accompany humans and keep them loyal. The friendship between them deepened and they kept having fun and playing in this beautiful place that resembles an orchard. She was waiting for him after he ate his food from the leftovers that had fallen on the ground while he was waiting for her after she finished her meal of weeds and leaves of green plants that teemed with the place then she releases her legs to the wind and he ran after her as if he was chasing his prey and he caught it every time because nothing is faster than a Cheetah in its prime among all the animals of the forest. And the gazelle (Amira) said to him once: You will catch me every time I run before you. What if I had not cried in front of you the first time we met, he replied: I would now have intercourse with female wolves, not controlling what is inside me, or killed by one of their males, stained in my blood when they were aroused, while I made intercourse with their females, and (Raed) loved (Amira) very much and she attached to him too and they became inseparable until a day came and he said to her: Will we stay here for the rest of our lives? She said to him: This is the safest place in the forest, and near it there is a gate called (Vortex of Nodes). We can enter and exit through it to the forest. I knew that from (Numeer) thelittle squirrel my friend, but I haven't even tried it, so I don't leave this place for fear of meeting beasts elsewhere in the forest, or meeting humans like my stepmother outside the confines of this enchanted forest, but (Numeer) comes out and enters through this gate a lot. He is brave despite his small size and is not afraid of anything. He always used to say: O (Vortex of Nodes), are you the solution of this knots, or do you make it more complicated? But the matter did not change in anything to come back and say: Perhaps the knots remain as they are, and the vortex is the exit and entrance to this forest, and he would say every time he came out of the forest: O my happy whirlpool, take me to the scum people outside and when he enters: O my happy whirlwind, take me to those cursed beasts, but what is a little squirrel worth among these or those? Except that his Lord made him like this so that he would not quarrel with them. (Raed) said to her: He is kind-hearted and complains about the curse that has befallen him, but as long as the matter does not get more complicated, why not try outside. If the solution is not here, it may be outside, and she replied: I have not tried before, but with you I feel that I am reassured and I fully trust you will protect me. Let's give it a try, we won't lose anything, (Numeer) has never lost anything before and I need to be free from my fear and your presence with me helps me do that.

8 Good has a great reward

The leopard (Raed) and the gazelle (Amira) crossed the gate (Vortex of Nodes) and she was afraid of this uncalculated step that depends on the element of luck and they were not safe from its surprises or unexpected events. As for (Raed), he was a little worried, and as they crossed the gate, he was repeating in his secret the saying of the squirrel (Numeer), “Vortex of Nodes”, take me to the scum outside, he was wounded by the sting of the prostitute woman too. And he learned not to trust everyone he meets, but rather he must follow caution when dealing with strangers and because of his indifference to his father's enemies and opponents in his trade, he lost a lot. This young man was no longer the son of the honorable merchant (Abd al-qader), whom everyone testifies about his integrity and gentleness, and he lost his father, his popular trade, and his original home, and he was lost among the wild animals of the forest.

The first thing that (Raed) and (Amira) noticed after they crossed the gate (Vortex of Nodes) was a fisherman sitting on the side of the lake and next to him his young son, a boy of no more than 10 years old, was fishing from the lake fish one by one, and as soon as the sun went down, he was leaving with his son returning to his home, satisfied with the livelihood of his day, he was surprised by a thief who had been watching him all the time and snatched the cage in which he was putting the fishes he had caught during the day. (Raed) did not control himself from what he saw. (Amira) felt the injustice for this hunter, so how, after spending the whole day for his livelihood and the livelihood of his family, this thief comes to easily seize what he had collected and labored for all day long, and here the magnanimity of (Raed) was revealed and his sense of the oppressed.

He ran as fast as he could and attacked the thief. The thief panicked as a result of a predatory leopard attack on him. He dropped the cage from his hands and ran away quickly, saving his life. (Raed) stood next to the fish cage and he started raising one of his front feet to the fisherman and his son, as if to say hello to them, and (Amira) started collecting the fishes that had been scattered with her mouth and put them in the cage again. And (Raed) pointed out to the fisherman and his son, the fisherman was perplexed by what he had seen and began to approach carefully little by little until he reached the place of (Raed) and (Amira) and hugged (Raed) as if embracing and petting a pet dog and (Amira) was licking the little boy with her tongue then they left the fisherman and his son and went on their way, and the fisherman is still amazed at that friendship that brings together a leopard with a gazelle and makes the two help him against that thief who wanted to steal his day's food and did not find an explanation for what happened, but he thanked God for saving his day's livelihood for him and neither (Raed) nor (Amira) say a word in front of that fisherman and they left in complete silence, after they helped him and his son, to meet shortly afterwards, as they were walking on their way, a young woman screaming loudly and asking someone for help to save her from those who had kidnapped her to marry their honorable man against her willing. Mr. (Mandour ibn Shaalan) from the (Hailan) tribe proposed to marry (Jamila bint Sabah), the daughter of Mr. (Sabah ibn Al-Akram), the honorable of the (Abed Al-Jamali) tribe, but her father refused his request because he wanted his daughter to marry her cousin (Ramadan ibn Al Akram), while she was in love with a poor young man named (Sulaiman ibn Radi) and when the conflict between them intensified, her father would beat her constantly until she agreed to marry her cousin, while she decided to escape with her poor young lover, and when her news reached Mr. (Mandour bin Shaalan), the honorable of the tribe (Hailan), he decided to kidnap her and take her as a wife for himself because he is more worthy of the two of them as long as she does not want her cousin, he is more entitled to her instead of that poor vagrant, according to him. (Raed) and (Amira) heard some of this story, which was repeated by some of the maids walking with the group of kidnappers headed by their honorable man (Mandour). Raed and Amira decided to help (Jamila) and free her from captivity, so (Raed) attacked the group of kidnappers and started biting them with his fangs and inflicting serious and deep wounds on them, so they started beating him with whips and waving their swords so that they could eliminate that beast that attacked them, but he avoided their strikes thanks to his agility until he was able to lower (Jamila) out of her hodge and distract her guards from the men assigned to guard her, here the maidservants started shouting and they ran away from the place, while these guards are resisting (Raed's) attacks and his deadly fangs, (Amira) appeared and asked (Jamila) to ride her back to escape with her, (Jamila) was surprised at first, how can a gazelle talk to her like humans, but (Amira) said to her: Ride now and you will understand everything later, (Jamila) had no other choice except that she got on the back of (Amira) and she ran away with her, and (Raed) caught up with them after he ended his clash with the guards and managed to escape from their polished swords. They all sat at a spring of water in the middle of the desert and started telling (Jamila) their story, and she was very moved by them and they heard her story from beginning to end, and they decided to reunite her with her lover (Sulaiman ibn Radi) and they all reached the place of (Sulaiman). (Raed) and (Amira) advised (Jamila) and her lover that they should leave their tribe and go to live in another place, and indeed they accompanied them until they reached a small tribe that welcomes strangers, its population is very small, and it usually does not engage in wars or conflicts with neighboring tribes. They bid farewell to (Jamila) and her lover and wished them a happy life in the future, but before they left the borders of this small tribe, they were attracted by a sight they did not like and caused the effects of anger within them that assured them that evil was everywhere, even in such remote or secluded areas. There was a man of strong build, tall, who was abusing an old widow and trying to drive her out of the place, after that, they knew that this widow owns a small mill in which she grinds grains to provide her enough bread and sells the remaining flour to get a little money that she needs to meet the requirements of life, and this man owned a shop next to that widow's mill and tried to buy it in every way to expand his shop, but she refused because it was her only source of livelihood and there was no one to support her because her son traveled with his wife some time ago, he left the town, while she refused to leave the town of her fathers and grandfathers, and continued grinding flour every day in the same place.(Raed) did not control himself and attacked that man until he left this widow and did not have power over her. (Raed) and (Amira) stayed for a while at the outskirts of the town, and every time he attacked this widow, (Raed) would appear and bit him in separate parts of his body until his body was filled with sores and scars, and (Amira) used to stand in the face of that man between him and the widow to protect and defend her until it became common in this village that that leopard and that deer were feeding and taking care of them by this widow, therefore, they appear from time to time to protect her as a kind of return of favor. And when this man was tired of the number of injuries that (Raed) had inflicted on his body, some advised him to make a written pledge in front the elders of this village not to touch this widow or harass her again in order to get rid of that leopard and that gazelle, and when (Raed) and (Amira) were assured about that widow and her own mill, they left the town and did not appear again. Then they moved to the grazing and shepherds area, where each shepherd owns a group of sheep that he grazes and transports from one place to another across the desert, and while one of the shepherds was busy remotely from the flock of sheep, one of the cursed wolves attacked them, he was (Talha Al-Qassam), the chief of the mercenaries, he had known about the gate of (Vortex of Nodes) and he used to leave the forest from time to time to attack the herds of shepherds in the desert to hunt from them, and he annoyed the shepherds because of the losses he caused to them and the sheep he preyed on, and as we said before, it is difficult to control your instinct in the midst of a cursed forest, which is exactly what happened with (Talha Al-Qassam), it became bloodier and more violent than before, and when (Raed) and (Amira) tried to defend the flock of sheep, (Talha Al-Qassam) inflicted severe and dangerous wounds on them and almost killed them until the tiger (Hazem ibn Al-Munzhir) appeared to attack the wolf (Talha Al-Qassam) and break his neck and kill him instantly. He reassures (Raed) and (Amira) that he will not harm them in any way, and tells them the story of the enmity between him and the mercenary group led by (Talha Al-Qassam).

9 Justice has many pictures

The tiger (Hazem ibn Al-Munzhir) began telling them the story of the enmity between him and the mercenary group led by (Talha Al-Qassam). This group of wolves lived near us in the enchanted forest and there were conflicts between us now and then when a group of them fought with one of us over prey or some meal and as you know, the law of the jungle is governed by the survival of the fittest, and this group causes us a disturbance at night when they howl as a kind of call to each other to gather for one prey, for example, and the nights of the full moon were the most intense of all
