Health App
The 5th and most recent operating system of iPadOS is the iPadOS 17, built by Apple Inc. for its iPad line on tablet computers, which is the successor to iPadOS 16.
On Monday, 5th June, 2023 it was announced at the Worldwide Developers Conference, thus finally released on Monday 18th September, 2023 together with the iOS 17, being the latest operating system for the iPhone 15.
The Lock Screen is redesigned in iPadOS 17, and it comes with improved and new ways to customize, add widgets, and display photos.
You now have access to the Health App on your iPad, just exactly the way it is on iOS 16, thus giving you the chance to view your health status on a larger display.
You can now easily find what you want on the sidebar, while the health data can as well be synced to the iPad with the use of iCloud with a view to making medical records, trends, medication, and highlights available.
Besides, it's pretty much easier to track the new mental health features on the iPad.
The Stage Manager has also been updated via Apple, thus giving all iPad users the options for the size and position of Stage Manager for an advanced multitasking experience.
Built-in cameras are also supported in Stage Manager on an external display.
Moreover, new drawing tools are featured on the Freeform application. It performs these functions: tilting on Apple Pencil, connecting lines, and shapes for objects.
You will encounter a number of features which are available in iPadOS 17. It includes changes to Spotlight, Siri, Safari, AirPlay, Privacy and Security...
We are ready to see a whole lot of changes, being a refinement here. The refinement that we are getting this year with iPadOS 17 has a very massive impact than those changes we got in the iPadOS 16. The iPadOS 17 makes the usage much faster and smarter.
The lock screen got a big overhaul in iPadOS 17. A lot of those features are brought from iOS 16 on the iPhone in the previous year, but the easy twist makes it better for the screen size.
Just like on the iPhone, on the iPad, you can set up multiple different lock screens. I have a few of them in my focus mode.
