Beschreibung

Another gripping story about a very mysterious being who is probably roaming some parts of the North and South island of New Zealand. It is the New Zealand version of the so-called American Bigfoot or Sasquatch. Meet the Moehau Man of the Fjordland. Be prepared to rethink your personal view of the world.

The New Zealand Bigfoot is alive and kicking!

Bigfoot might be a common theme in the United States or Canada, but it isn’t here. Most people will not believe that such a thing could exist out there. Only if you are prepared to open your mind and do your own research, you will draw the same conclusion, that it is not only very probable that a New Zealand variety of Bigfoot could actually roam the bush of New Zealand, but also the overwhelming evidence, which speaks for itself, could convince even the most obstinate skeptic.

Although I am not here to convince anyone, I just want to point this out because most of the time, truth is definitely stranger than fiction! And this story of mine mirrors this saying. So, let me explain to you how I was first a skeptic a non-believer and how I actually had the grace or curse of not only seeing one but interacting with one of these legendary creatures, who have been known to most Maori tribes, who call this type of Bigfoot the Moehau which means  „man. “

This Maori term can be translated the following way: “hairy man” or hairy thing. I did not know all of this, but I soon realized, after having read several books of Maori Mythology, that this creature was not unknown to most of the indigenous people, who have had their experiences with it, albeit ones which were mostly not so pleasant.
