Mallie stared at me pointedly, her arms folded. I refused to meet her gaze.
"I can't come, Celestial. But you need to find him. I understand." Mallie spoke softly.
"Why can't you come? This isn't a journey without my sister." I whispered.
"I have to watch over the pack." Mallie pulled me into a bug. "Go, find Tony."
I sighed, pulling back. "I'll do my best." I promised.
She smiled warmly. "If your not back within a month, I'll come looking." She chuckled. I turned to leave.
Mallie stopped me, grabbing my hand. I felt energy flow from her to me. She then put a watch on my wrist.
"I gave you some of my powers. You have the power of the sun now, and this is a watch, but also a teleporting device. Press this button," She pointed to the red one. "To come home." Mallie whispered.
I smiled weakly as i gave my sister one last hug, and went off.
I dont know where i am exactly.
I could be in the forest at night, when the trees shadows fall across the ground, causing your sight to be useless.
Or, i could still be trapped in the dungeon.
I looked down, at the floor. I could hardly see through the blackness, but i got a glimpse of concrete flooring before my eyes moved.
They instinctively glanced toward the door of the dungeon, where a shadowy figure stood. Whoever it was flipped on a light, blinding me for half a second.
This was my first glimpse at my capturer. (S)he was all dressed in black, head to toe. Only the face was uncovered. It reminded me of the Volturi i had read of in twilight. I instinctively hissed.
"Who are you?" I snarled.
"I could ask you the very same thing." It was definitely a male. His voice was husky and deep, making me cringe.
"Im Celestial, goddess of the moon!" I jutted my chin defiantly. "You are?"
He did not answer other than a sly smile. He looked at me, then at the table to my left. "I'll bring you something to eat." He told me, spun around.
"Wait--please!" But he was gone, and the dungeon door closed with a CLANK!
I growled in frustration, itching to melt the bars. I could do it--i had the power of the sun, right?
I opened my palm and shot golden white flames at the metal bars. Instead of melting them, it bounced off the bars and flew toward me. i obsorbed it back into my palm and sighed.
I door opened again, and the shadowy figure came in, carrying a dead deer.
"Im not eating that. For all i know it could be poisoned." I told him.
The figure grimaced at me. "Look, kid--"
"Celestial." I corrected icily.
"Celestial, i dont care if you eat or not. These are my orders. In fact, im only doing this so that i can be leader." The man growled. "So do your job and eat this--or youll have to deal with Salamon."
"Salamon?" I dropped my hands to my side. "Oh crap."
"What?" The figure looked at me with narrowed amber eyes.
"Well, its just that.." I paused. "Your in the Darkness Cult, arent you?"
"Yep."
"And im your prisoner." It wasnt a question.
"For now." He smiled.
"So you will let me go?" I asked, hopeful.
"No," The man frowned. "Were going to kill you."
"What??" I growled.
"Im sorry." He didnt sound sorry. "I tried reasoning with him..but.."
I looked at the ground. "So im going to die." I said flatly.
"No," The man stared at me. "Not unless you try and escape, or break the rules. Im breaking the rules now, by telling you this."
I glared at him. "So, Salamon, hes the leader..then.." I tipped my head. "Why..why did..you come in here?"
"Im the caretaker." He twisted his mouth into a grimace. "Oh, by the way, im John."
"John?" I looked up, my eyes blank as a memory came to me.
"Did anyone tell you..Kayna died?" Mallie said.
"Aw man, what? Ill miss her." Jason frowned.
"And John's left too." Mallie sighed.
