It is there at birth when you first cry your way into the harsh lights and sounds of the world.

It brings these deaths in course, but even the Grim One is only an occasional visitor while It eats incessantly at humanity. It surrounds us always, taking from us.
Live for the moment. Yes, indeed do that, for few are the moments anyone may possess.
Where are you now? What are you doing? What are your plans? The invisible one does not care. Good or bad things may come in its wake but it has no goodness, no evil, only its own inescapable constant.
It saw you play happily as a child and was there when you graduated college. It saw your first birthday, your first career and your first love.
When all that has passed you will find yourself ultimately alone with the beast. It may even lay at your feet, but it will be the master.
