VEELA AND THE CIRCUS CLUES
Veela, Rahmat, Miranda, Bane and Crane were walking back from Countryside High School in Von Lighthouse. Everyday they used to pass a playground which had gone into renovation recently. But today, there was a pinstriped tent with a sign board reading ‘The Carnival of Dreams’.
As Veela and her friends walked around the fencing of the circus grounds, their eyes widened with excitement at the sight of the colourful booths. Each booth had a different theme - one was filled with bright balloons, another had a table full of delicious treats, and yet another had a funny clown painting silly faces on children.
The children ran to take a closer look towards the fence.
“Seems like it has started”, said Veela peeking inside.
"Wow, look at all the fun things to do here!" exclaimed Rahmat, tugging on her friend's sleeve.
"I want to go on the spinning teacups ride first!" shouted Bane, pointing towards a whimsical ride in the corner.
"And I want to try my luck at the ring toss game!" chimed in Miranda, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.
The friends chattered away in delight, making plans for what they wanted to do first when they entered the circus. The air was filled with laughter and joy as they imagined all the wonderful experiences awaiting them inside.
Little did they know that this circus held more surprises and magic than they could ever imagine.
The next day as the school bell rang, Veela and her friends gathered their things and chattered excitedly about the upcoming field trip to the circus. Miss Liliana, their teacher, smiled at their enthusiasm as she announced the news.
"We are going to the circus next week!" she exclaimed, and the classroom erupted into cheers and applause.
Veela's mind raced with all the possibilities of what they could see and do at the circus. She turned to her friend, Miranda and said, "I can't wait to see the acrobats flying through the air! And the funny clowns making us laugh!"
Miranda applauded in happiness."I want to ride on the colourful carousel with all the pretty horses! And maybe we can even get some cotton candy!"
Crane jumped up from his seat, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "I hope we get to see fierce lions and tigers jumping through hoops! And maybe a magician doing amazing tricks!"
"I hope there are clowns with big, red noses!" giggled Rahmat, making everyone laugh.
Veela and her classmates are taken for the Circus a week later.
